THE GAME & YOUNG BUCK - WHAT IN TARNATION?
I will believe it when I see it.
I don’t know what in tarnation is going on, but I heard that Young Buck is going to join The Game on BET in the near future. The Game is now on a full-fledged promo tour right now. I mean, promo in terms of promoting L.A.X. From what I know, Buck is in the UK right now, but will return to the United States this week to make a complete peace pact with The Game. At the bottom of this page, there is a video of G-Unit talking and 50 Cent didn’t have anything crazy to say about Buck so maybe this won’t happen.
LUPE FIASCO BREAKS DOWN CRYING?
I haven’t heard much about Lupe Fiasco in recent times, but I heard something. What did I hear? I heard Lupe took a break from his slot on Kanye West’s Glow In The Dark Tour and played at SOB’s in New York Cittttttay! Well I heard that Lupe got to performing his song “Hip-Hop Saved My Life” and got touched with emotion over the memory of Stack Bundles, the New York MC that was brutally murdered. I don’t know all the details, but I know Lupe Fiasco and Stack were pretty good friends. We interviewed Nikki Jean, the lovely singer on that song -“Hip-Hop Saved My Life.”
EMINEM’S NEXT CD: LITTLE TO NO KIM?
Most of us are waiting for Eminem and we all want that psycho, witty and deranged lyricist. From what I understand, he is coming back out in the relatively near future, but it won’t be without changes. I hear Eminem will be fairly easy on Kim this time around. Obviously, she and his own mother have been the cornerstone of a lot of his most controversial songs. You may ask why. Not sure, but I hear it is, in part, due to the turmoil they have gone through with divorce and court. He’s probably over it and moving on.
KANYE TOLD RIHANNA WHAT?
I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing the “Glow In The Dark” tour like most of you. I heard that Kanye “strongly urged” Rihanna to change her show up in major ways. I heard this included a set change and a wardrobe change too. On top of it all, Kanye PAID for these changes and you can see a remarkable difference.
So the first video represents what Rihanna was doing in Seattle when this all kicked off and the second one is New York’s Madison Square Garden, the last date. Now, I haven’t seen the show, but when you look at the video you can see major differences. In the first, Ri Ri appears to be rocking some gear that looks like she is going to be doing aerobics. In the NY clip, she is in red and black patent leather or a dominatrix get up.

I could have put this in “Signs The World Is Coming To An End,” but since its Weezy…I present:

I thought Nick and Mariah were going to kill some time showing off their rings and letting people chase them. No, they have reportedly already gotten a nursery hooked up by the same people that hooked up J.Lo and Marc Anthony. Somebody tried to suggest that Mariah was expecting twins, but I doubt that’s the case.

ELEMENTAL MAGAZINE – SHADY EXIT?
Do you remember Elemental Magazine? If you are on the East Coast, you should. It was a dope magazine that catered to the real elements of Hip-Hop with a hip little twist. Anyway, Elemental is no longer around, because they went out of business rather suddenly. Well, they were dope and all that, but they have left some bitter people in the aftermath. Why? I heard Elemental owed quite a few people money and those people are now speaking on it. Apparently, the owners told the people they owed that they were going to get bought out and that's why they were in limbo for so long.
Uh…NO. Their phone number changes and nobody knows anything. Come to find out, the owner(s) packed up and moved to upstate New York to work on old Porches, I hear. The crazy thing is a lot of people feel they just got juxed by some dudes that appeared to be straight up. R.I.P. Elemental.

A 10-year-old scholar in college?

Moshe Kai Cavalin is a 10-year-old sophomore in East Los Angeles College. Right now, he is studying for final exams in advanced mathematics, foreign languages and music. This is a two-year program at the East LA college and he’s expected to move to a four-year program at another school to pursue astrophysics. Did I mention he can play the piano and even practices martial arts? Yep. The boy was studying Algebra at the age of 8. Jeez!
As long as his talents aren’t used for evil at some point, this man is proof the world isn’t going to end.

Remember that boy that stole his granny’s car and wrecked it up? The boy is back and he’s ready for more hood rat stuff. The boy wanted some chicken wings and the same grand mother checked him and said, “No.” Guess what the boy allegedly did? Beat up his own grand mom in a Wal Mart. The 7-year-old menace to society went and ordered the chicken wings even when his request was denied. Grand Mom stepped up, Grand Mom got beat down. “He just started hitting me — just started hitting me in front of the whole Wal-Mart. Every one in there was upset,” “Grand Ma” Vikkita Stratford said.
The boy will be undergoing a psychological evaluation. The Granny thinks the negative relationship his parents have is driving him to crime. DO TELL. Heed the SIGNS, people!

50 Cent and G-Unit were on BET’s 106 & Park recently. At first, I didn’t really good a big hoot, but I saw they spoke on the Sean Bell murder. Right around 2 minutes in is where G-Unit kicks the ballistics on the case. 50 Cent said that M.O.P. was technically still signed to G-Unit? WHOA! I wonder what that’s all about.

is selling his Curious George T-shirt, but he's started some ish for real. First, there is a furor over the shirts and people are boycotting him for his inferred racism. Second, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, who own the rights to Curious George, are thinking about suing him. They said in a statement that the T-shirt “offensive and utterly out of keeping with the values Curious George represents. We are monitoring the situation and weighing our options with respect
to possible legal action.”
