Yeah, Eddie’s near-miss wife is now dating Sean Combs, in what might just be a blatant lie by Britain's Daily Mail. But, they seem to have some goods. "Diddy is the funniest man I've ever met. I'm so lucky to find someone so soon after Eddie, Edmonds allegedly told the paper. "It's early days - we've only been on three or four dates - but he's whisked me off my feet. I don't know about wedding bells but he's definitely the man for me." Sounds fish, eh? Nevertheless, Tracey is a banger and in the hot 40 club. From what I heard, reps for both Tracey and Diddy have already shot this down.

Kanye West, Common, Method Man, and Redman were all ceremoniously sued yesterday by the daughter of Joe Farrell, a deceased Jazz artist. The daughter caught wind of a sample they all used in a couple songs. Kathleen Firrantello, Farrell’s daughter, filed the suit in a U.S. District Court in New York. She charges that her father’s 1974 track “Upon This Rock” was unlawfully sampled in West’s “Gone,” Common’s “Chi-City,” and Method Man and Redman’s “Run 4 Cover.” Also suing their record companies, she’s seeking $1 million dollars in damages and asking that no further copies of the songs be sold or performed.
MIAMI LOVES SODA!
Miami recently celebrated the Grand Opening of the Miami Hip Hop Soda Shop. I was told the overall vibe was definitely crazy. Artists and random celebrities came by including Meagan Good, Fat Joe, Fabolous, DJ Q45, and DJ Mad Linx, among. Fat Joe, Fabolous, Grind Mode and Casely, all performed their singles with Miami Live, who played lived instruments. The venue is dope, 40 plasma screens, and Microsoft Xbox360s have the venue decked out.

JADAKISS STOLE “WHY,” MAN CLAIMS
In 2004, Jadakiss shocked everybody with a poignant song called “Why.” Two years later a man from the Washington DC claims that Jadakiss took his song, recorded in 2002, and made it a hit record. D.C. hip-hop artist Marcus G. Rhodes song has similar themes, but nothing was exactly the same. Well, to make a long story way short he says he gave a copy of “Why” to people in the Ruff Ryders rap camp when they were in Washington DC on Jan. 11, 2003. From there, I guess he charges Kiss took the song and revamped it into a hit. The lawsuit was subsequently dismissed, but the memory lives on.
