TODAY'S RUMORS
DID KANYE GET MAD AT SUMMER JAM?
Now, I got wind of this last night as I added the Summer Jam Summary, but I didn’t mention it. Why? It was after I accidentally deleted all my rumors. So, there are two tiers to this. First of all during his performance, which I heard was very good, Kanye kept referring to him closing the show –as if he was closing the show. The only thing, despite his repeated mentions, he wasn’t closing the show. The legendary Public Enemy was closing the show. Now, from what I heard Kanye did have the best show of the night, but somehow the Summer Jam organizers threw a money wrench in the program. They announced that there was going to be a surprise guest AFTER Public Enemy. Usually, the last act catches a bad one, because everybody starts leaving the venue on them. The closer? Jim Jones and Dipset! I heard Kanye was not pleased at the ideal that Jim was last on the bill. On the real side, headlining isn’t all its cracked up to be.
…AND WHY WASN’T RIHANNA AT SUMMER JAM?
People that attended expected Rihanna to close out Summer Jam, but suddenly Jim Jones pops up. That was an odd experience, because fans expected to see the sexy siren at the “jam.” She just was a no-show. But people that were watching MTV saw her and Chris Brown at the MTV movie awards in all its pop glory. Could it be that Ri Ri has totally crossed over? Speaking of crossover, Alicia Keys did the gulliest move of Summer Jam, she brought out Wu Tang and Maino during her set. Wow. She crosses over like Iverson!
DIDDY AND CAMERON DIAZ?
Diddy was all hugged up on Cameron Diaz - again? I’m growing a bit weary about these rumors. This one was perpetuated by the NY Daily News at a party Prince had at his house. And they said the following:
Sly Stallone, John Legend, Eddie Murphy, Babyface and other guests were riveted by the 2 1/2-hour backyard concert the funkster gave to launch his book, "21 Days." But Diaz and Diddy seemed only to have eyes for each other.
During the show, they laughed and held hands. At one point, while Diddy sipped a Grey Goose, Cameron told him he "must" try her bread pudding, which she proceeded to spoon-feed him. After some whispering, Diddy nodded toward Prince's mansion.
Once inside, he led Diaz by the hand through its labyrinthine corridors to Prince's basement. That's where we came upon the entranced twosome standing in the theater's doorway. Diddy was bringing his lips toward hers when he realized someone was approaching. Smiling, they closed the theater's door and locked it. We heard them giggling inside.
Diddy said he and Diaz did not go into a private room at the Sub-Mercer, adding, "It is ridiculous that two celebrities of the opposite sex can't just hang out with a group of friends without it being reported as more than that. We are just friends.”
See, they are just friends – just like me and Kelly Rowland.
LIL’ WAYNE AND THE DJ’S
I don’t know if you heard, but DJ Drama had Lil’ Wayne on his show and let the New Orleans rep explain himself a bit more on that “F**k DJ’s” fiasco. Click here to listen for Lil’ Wayne’s lament. Also, if you want to compare, click here for the original comments. Anyway, I heard SOME DJ’s are still very pissed at Weezy and have offered his whole album for download on their myspace pages! Sheeeesh. What a grudge! Anyway, some mixtape DJ’s aren’t taking Drama’s route and are saying “f**k Wayne.” I don’t know!

This lady is snappin’ over Obama beating Hillary. What an idiot. Voting Republican because you’re Democratic nominee doesn’t win? Not a wise old woman or a McCain “plant” by the Replublican party.
JAY-Z DOING IT UP IN THE UK!
Jay-Z is all ready to celebrate, b***hes! Noel Gallagher – whoever you are – get back under that rock. Jay is reportedly flying in all sorts of exotic liquors and whatever in honor of his looming Glastonbury festival appearance. They say Jay is going to really go all out because of the criticism that Hip-Hop isn’t really a good look for the festival. Pluss, he heard Will Smith, Tom Cruise and David/Vicky Beckham did it super big last year. Glastonbury festival runs from June 27 to June29.

Royce Da 5’ 9” and Joe Budden might be right on time to do their thing for AllHipHop Week’s 5th Year Anniversary and AHH’s 10th year celebration. Royce just released a new freestyle rap and he’s making some clear and obvious disses at Joe Budden. Now, I know Royce typically stays dormant, but goes off if somebody mentions his name. So, I am going to go out on a limb and speculate that Joe Budden probably did an interview, which said something that urked The D native. Well, last year AHH tried to get these two on the same stage and then Joe’s brother got shot. Then, Mistah F.A.B. came in and was a problem on that SOB’s stage. Nevertheless, we have to see how this pans out. If you missed it, it seemed like he dissed T-Pain too.

NAS IN CONCERT – THE WHOLE THING
Nas was live in concert in Halifax at The Cunard Center in Canada. I heard that Nas is still calling his album N****r. I can’t call it. I guess he feels it is what it is even if he was forced to change it commercially. "Wheres all my rebel mutha f***ks at?...Ya'll know the new album coming July 1st..The name is N***er..to them we are the hypocrisy and the bulls***t of this world..Its not just blacks, they treating woman like n***as and white people like n***as too...The powers that be are trying to wipe us all out."
