BROOKLYN HOSPITAL: SAME HOSPITAL AS BIGGIE?

 

By now, I am sure that you have heard of the woman that died on the floor of a Brooklyn Hospital - Kings County Hospital Center to be specific. I urge those that can, not to go to this hospital with any grave concerns. Anyway, this is the basic rundown. A woman was left to die on a floor last month after people basically ignored her as she writhed about the psychiatric emergency ward. A video camera showed her on the ground as both security and patients watched off and on through the night.

 

Well, the rumor is, I have been informed that Biggie Smalls, the notorious one, was born in the same hospital that this woman died. In fact, I heard that several notable people in Hip-Hop were born in this crazy place. It makes me wonder what that all means in the big scheme of things.

 

Anyway, you know a justified lawsuit is here and the lawyer said something that we all should think about. I think it transcends the psychiatric care community too.

 

"The reason why this woman died the way she did was that there is a culture of indifference that permeates every aspect of KCHC psychiatric care, nothing short of that," said Robert Cohen, a partner at Kirkland & Ellis Llp, which with NYCLU brought the lawsuit.

First you have to give them a sample of your skin, which they then replicate. Once that's been done, they sew it on - and it's seamless.’

I heard there was a music showcase for Seagram’s a few days a go and Chrisette Michelle, the Def Jam, got up and sang like 3/4 of a song. But, it seems like the crowd wasn’t giving her the proper attention and a rep got up and scolded the crowd for not being attentive. I heard Chrisette was so upset she left in a huff and had to come back after the venue was cleared to record the performance. She also had to get some pics with the sponsors. Poor Chrisette. She really is a dope singer so I am going to chide the crowd from my computer! “Don’t let that happen again, crowd – or else!”

 

JEEZY FALLS BACK!

 

In the new Vibe, Young Jeezy said, “No disrespect to Barack, but I f**k with John McCain. I like Barack, but at the same time I wanted to see what McCain was talking about.” Apparently, the comments were stated after he shook the hand of the Arizona Senator and Republican Presidential nominee on the set of his Saturday Night Live. This was in May. Well, Jeezy has shot down the notion that he is endorsing McCain.

 

He said: “I represent the Democratic party…I’ve never been nor do I ever plan to be a John McCain supporter. I support Barack Obama.”

The world will continue to revolve around the sun no matter how much we mess it up. Hell, cockroaches were around before the dinosaurs. Do you think they are going anywhere? Here is the latest “sign.”

 

There was a cute movie called “Ice Age,” but scientists are now fearful that the Earth is heading to a new ice age with the slowing of global warming. (I didn’t know global warming was coming to an end, by the way.) Why is this? Apparently, the sun is bugging! There are not sunspots popping off the sun and they are at an 11-year old, activity-wise. The area of the sun that creates sunspots seems to be very “cold.” Apparently, there is some magnetic field over the earth that reacts to sunspots. When they are weak, it doesn’t do anything. The makes the earths surface really cool. Basically, they are saying in the upcoming decades we can see the Earth cool down really fast. NOT GOOD.

Turns out the young lady co-starring in "Mini-Me Climbs the Mountain-A Sex Tape" has given full authority to TMZ to broadcast the hell out of her Jerry Springer style love fest with lil man. She said it was her camera. It was her tape. And she can do whatever she damn well wishes with it. TMZ immediately put the snippet back up on the site. They had taken it down since being slapped with Mr. Troyer's law suit.

Three arrests in 10 days. That's got to be a record somewhere. At this point, why even bother to let him out. He's spending all his yayo money on bail anyway? And is it me, or do the muggies just get worse and worse. I feel bad for this brother. Hopefully someone in his circle, someone he was taking care of when he was "the man" will step in and repay that debt.

Looks like Jay Z is in the middle of a lawsuit again... this time it's about his 40/40 club chain and how they pay their employees.  According to a former employee Celeste Williams, the club doesn't even pay minimum wage or overtime to it's employees.  A spokesman for Jay Z states 'The club is not settling this lawsuit because they are innocent. We're taking this to court and we're letting the judge decide.' Well I know tons of people who work at bars and don't ge what they deserve yet they don't file lawsuits... they just get other jobs.... so with that said, moving right along.....

In the midst of continued violence between Israeli and Palestinian forces, the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) has released a statement condemning Snoop Dogg’s scheduled September 18 performance in the Jewish state. The group, which mantra calls for a "comprehensive economic, cultural, and academic boycott of Israel," has expressed shock that Snoop would make an appearance in Israel at a time when the region is full of strife and tenuous peace talks."The Palestinian arts community was deeply saddened and surprised by the news of your upcoming performance in Israel on September 18 in Ramat Gan," the PACBI disclosed in a statement. "We strongly urge you to cancel your plans to perform in Israel until the time comes when Israel ends its illegal occupation of Palestinian and Arab territories..." A shaky truce was reached June 19 between Israel and Hamas (Islamic Resistance Movment), who control the Gaza Strip. Despite this, isolated violence continues with both sides accusing the other of undermining the peace talks.
