I cannot tell a lie, but I can tell a rumor. I heard that Jimmy Iovine of Interscope Records might be the dude that’s lead rap into some amazing and not so amazing places. But now I am hearing that Iovine has been let go or is about to be let go very, very soon. Why? Well, the rumor is strong, but I am hearing that this whole 50 Cent thing has really taken on a life of its own. Again, I have no facts, BUT…rumor has it, Iovine has to answer to his shareholders like any other corporate mogul. 50 Cent is one of his biggest acts yet there has been considerable discussion and inquiry from the shareholders on why his their marquee artist – 50 Cent – hasn’t performed so well two times in a row.
So, as the tale goes on…it feeds into what 50 Cent has proclaimed already: that Interscope sabotaged his last two efforts. On G-Unit’s in particular, there were a lot of complaints. Enough copies weren’t shipped. The promotion was weak. Who knows? Nevertheless, the supposed and presumed shareholders are like these efforts weren’t supported properly. Now, 50 Cent and Jimmy Iovine have shared words in the past. Or 50 Cent has been frank in how he feels about the Interscope boss. I heard that 50 Cent’s contract is about to be up for renegotiation and the rumored powers that be wanted to remove his leverage to negotiate. We shall see.

My boy Chris hit me with the news quick fast and in a hurry! He was at the event at SOB’s yesterday! Yo, SOB’s is a really good venue with some really good Hip-Hop. IT is not a spot you associate with violence or foolishness. Hot 97 had an event called "Who's Next,” which was hosted by DJ Absolute. After a few opening acts, Max B was set to perform. Before he hit the stage, about 25 gang-affiliated dudes entered the club. A fight broke out instantly between entourages and shots were fired according to Chris. I don't know if anyone was hit, or if Max was hit, because Chris bolted the F outta there quick. More on this as it develops.
DID JESSE JACKSON TAKE BARACK’S FATHER’S DAY MESSAGE TOO PERSONALLY?
What’s the real reason Jesse Jackson wants to “cut off Barack’s balls?” If you don’t know, the Jesse had a baby out of his marriage about nine years ago. That’s right. Jesse has some dirt under his nails. Anyway, Karin Stanford, the lady who has a 9 year daughter with Rev Jackson, think Jesse took Barack’s Father’s Day speech a bit too personal. See, Jesse and his wife have been married for 46 years or so….and the guilt has set in, she says. "We need fathers to recognize that responsibility doesn't just end at conception. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Rev Jackson has to acknowledge that he has his own responsibility to his daughter." Karin told The Enquirer, "My daughter Ashley, who is 9 years old, has very little contact with her siblings. And although Jesse takes care of her financially and has a relationship with Ashley, she is still not considered a part of that family. Ashley is not even on anyone's Christmas card list!"

Karin didn’t stop there. She said, "She [her daughter Ashley] has met three of the five Jackson children, but it was by accident-we ran into them. All of the Jackson children have kids of their own and they are Ashely's age. She is their aunt, but they have never met her. And to tell you the truth, even if Jesse took Ashley to see his family, it would have to be a chaperoned visit because I would literally be afraid to leave my baby alone with them. They are so dysfunctional, there is no telling what they would do or say to her."

For any dude that gets down with the Simmons’ Sisters is a lucky person. They are cute, successful and a part of Hip-Hop royalty. OK, I hope I am getting this right. Her man is TK of Flysociety and they are reportedly the hottest young couple in LA. I heard TK even copped her a new BMW 760! Anyway, rumor has it Bugsy and TK got into a situation over a rumored “disrespectful incident.” I heard a “mini fight” went down over it. Bugsy is down with Lil Wayne, by the way. Anyway, Flysociety included Curren$y. TK used to supposedly be cool with Tyga and a bunch of other stuff. Whew…that was a lot. Stay tuned for more details…or not.

Like I said yesterday, there is a rumor that Fabolous recently had a kid, but there is more intel to go with that. First, the baby isn’t THAT new. I am hearing he had the baby with the child’s mother in late March or early April. I heard Fab is really happy so that’s what’s good. I am sure if this rumor is true, a Barack speech would never offend him. My source on this one happens to have a lil’ thing for Lady Drama!
FAT JOE MADE IT, BUT NOT SEAN KINGSTON
Remember I told you that Fat Joe and Sean Kingson didn’t make it to Ghana? Well, JOE DID! Fat Joe went, but it was rumored that Sean Kington didn’t want to get a required shot to get into the country. I heard many people ini Ghana clowned him for being scared of needles, but enough of that. Fat Joe made it, but he paid a price. Rumor has it, Joe got food poisoning in the UK and had to miss the advertised date. But Joe scooped up Omarion (pause) and they rocked the show. I heard Joe said the following, “My people…I love you Ghana…I am sorry. I was sick… but I guess it is better late than never.' He further explained that he couldn't sleep the whole day because he was thinking about Ghana.”

Suit? I heard Lil Flip has a new suit – lawsuit that is! You probably know rapper Bugsy (mentioned above) used to be down with Lil’ Flip. But I just heard some that Lil Flip is suing his former label Sony Records (and maybe Wayne) for stealing Bug from from his Clover imprint. I didn’t even know that Bugsy was signed and still don’t since this is a rumor!
LADY DRAMA COMES BACK TO EARTH!

Looks like Kelly does have a little bit of bite in her! Word on the street is she was bad mouthing former DC group mate Farrah! While talking to a UK radio outlet Kelz said Farrah was a nut! You've got to peep what she said word for word:
'Michelle was so pretty and so sweet, we fell in love with her instantly. And we also had another one ... Farah ... who was a total nut. You didn't hear me say it.”
She came into the group as well. She served her purpose. But stuff happens - and she wasn't in the group for more than two months - that was a blessing.'

Looks like Usher's wife is ready to expand her family again and revisit the pregnant life! The semi new bride told US Weekly this about her son and having more children:
“He’s like hyper baby — he’s crawling so fast!…He stands up, and he’s walking around the table … it’s amazing to watch him. I’ve never seen a baby crawl so fast! I call him Dash, like on the Incredibles!…We’re just scared because the baby knows how to get off the bed already, so our bed is like a gigantic crib because we have rails.”
On having more kids, she said:
“I’d love to have more, we just gotta make the time.”
Wow if Usher can sit through another sitting of that then more power to him! Not for nothing they are good at one thing and that's making great offspring! Happy humping folks!
50 Cent may throw in the towel..... Yea Right
According to some sources on my end I hear 50 is contemplating getting out of the rap game! As I hear it 50 and his label aren't seeing eye to eye resulting in 50 not wanting to continue his rap career! I also hear he'll be putting more efforts into his other ventures such as acting, and he's gone so far as to drop his stage name 50 Cent for his real name Curtis Jackson! Now I don't know how valid this all may be... maybe 50 is just getting his grown man on for a minuet I mean can he breathe a little DAMN! I'll keep you posted although I'm sure when 50 is ready to retire we ALL will know!
