TODAY'S RUMORS!

Before today's rumors, you need to get down with yesterday's stuff. There is this whole blow up with Jim Jones and T.I. So, click here to read what Jim said and how T.I. responded. Also, there are rumors that Sarah Palin might make fun of Tina Fey on SNL! Clikkkkkk here!

KELIS SEX TAPE?

Well, I wasn’t sure last night, but it looks like somebody claims they have a Kelis sex tape. You know me…I tend to not drop catastrophic bombs but this one his crazy. I’m fairly convinced that this entertainment world has nothing to do with singer or talent. Anyway, I’m proud to say that Wendy, Charlamange tha God and them say they have seen it and that the tape is crystal clear. They also say that its not Kelis’ spouse in the tape. I mean, that I am glad about. Who wants to see that, even though I’ve always had a thing for Kelis. Now, I actually forgot this, but 50 Cent alleged that he had something of this nature earlier in the year. Ironically, his new single drops the same day these rumors come out. I wonder if there is some connection. I hope not. That would be way too much invested in destroying another man/woman’s life.

KARDINAL OFFISHALL- KERI OVER RIHAHHA

Kardinal pulled a fast one! The Canadian rapper reportedly has Rihanna on his album. Score one for him. On the flip side, he – for whatever reason – opted to replace RiRi with Keri Hilson in the video. Now, we can all say Rihanna is the hottest chick right now, but could it be that she is a bit overexposed? I don't know why Kardi would rock either way, but Keri might be "next." I don't know that they want RiRi on two guest appearance singles out in the marketplace at the same time.

I LOVE NINA B…FOR HELPING OUT LIL' CEASE

Hahaha! Yo, B. Nina B is dope. Check this out. The Breeding Ground rapper and NY superstar gonna compete in the New York Marathon next month. Guess who I heard is training her? Lil Cease! That’s right, Junior Mafia’s Lil Cease has totally taken over the fitness game to “guru” status! She is running to give the world awareness on child obesity. What about adult obesity. I’m calling Cease!

EPIC FAIL OF THE DAY

If you saw yesterday, Carl Lewis totally messed up the National Anthem of the United States. Well, in the latest patriotic fail, Cuba Gooding Sr – a singer – messed up the song too. Check it out how he give him self dap at the end.

KANYE’S “LOVE LOCKDOWN”

Anybody understand why Kanye chose Ellen Degeneres to debut his new vid...probably the farthest thing from traditional. Also can you tell me exactly what these video means. I have my theories, but I wanna read what you think!

AND COMMON AGAIN

Who has the better vid – Common or Kanye? These guys seem to secretly love squaring off. Common was supposed to come out early summer and now he’s dropping in the same timeframe as Ye.

ILLSEED’S QUICKIES

People are really mad at Jay-Z. I know he says he’s Superman, but he’s quiet human. He gets sick too.

Lord have mercy. Vibe magazine had deemed Eminem the best rapper alive. This has to be a ploy for a cover story! LL has to be going ballistic right now.

Developer Mark Karasick now owns 1520 Sedgwick Avenue, the building that helped give birth to Hip-Hop. He paid a cool $7 million dollars.

Capone-N-Noreaga's album 'Channel 10' has been pushed back to January 2009.

There is new intel that the the Secret Service might be seeking to find someone that shouted “kill him” in reference to Obama at a McCain/Palin event. SMH at these people – trying to start a race war.

Jadakiss recently told MTV that he’s going to be on Jigga’s BP3.

Halle Berry is reportedly working on her next baby. I wish she'd work it out with me. L I lost.

T-Boz of TLC is rumored to be on the next season of "The Apprentice."

Tell me Obama didn't body McCain, especially when he said "I don't understand…"

RANDOM QUOTES

Rick Ross comes clean [Don Diva]:

"Yes, it's me. I never tried to hide my past. I put my name inside my CDs. My company has my [Social Security number]. I could've put a company name...I done been up and I done been down and that's what makes me what I am. I never ratted on a nigga. I never prosecuted a nigga. I never locked up a nigga, that's first and foremost. I always felt that me being the nigga that I am, I never owed a nigga an explanation. When I'm making my music and I'm talking about blow, it's because I did it. When I say that I'm rich off cocaine, it's because I did it. Those are the street principals that apply."

Did Robin Thicke diss Rihanna? [Vibe]:

"They are entertainers. There are people who are about precision and entertainment; there are people who are about emoting and expressing. Sometimes they are people who do both, but I think there is room for everybody. I want to watch Rihanna sing her songs—I don't care! [Laughs] I want to watch and I want to listen. She ain't got to sound like Mary J. all the time. Who does? The point is as media and critics you want to say that shouldn't be out there, but as fans you want more music, you want more options. As a fan, I should be promoting all music coming out so I get a choice of what I want to buy."

DELAWARE ON THE MAP – FREEWAY AND SAP

Have you heard that new Freeway joint in the media zone – “Bread Butter?” The song is produced by SAP The Beat Man. SAP is from Newark Delaware, and he’s a student at Christiana High School. He's only 16 but he's doing the damn thing and he’s done quote a lot of work for the likes of Meek Millz. He helped Meek get his deal at T.I.'s Grand Hustle. I heard the boy got 5 songs on the new Juelz Santana album. Whewwwww Delaware is in the house!

SIGNS THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END

Before I do the “Signs,” I have to give you the Signs 2 – click here to read about the man that got shot three time, because he was wearing a Barack Obama T-shirt!

As far as the world ending. Check out this report from the Philadelphia Daily News:

One girl saw her father get shot, another saw a man point a gun at her mother's head and, police said, a third saw that same man, her own father, point the gun - frightful incidents of road rage that occurred this weekend involving unwitting child passengers.

Thomas Timko, 40, remains in critical condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after being shot in the head by an enraged motorist shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday.

In the second incident, a 21-year-old woman driving with her 2-year-old daughter about 5:40 p.m. Saturday in Upper Darby honked at a man who allegedly ran a red light at Long Lane and Marshall Road, Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said.

The man, identified by police as Deaone McNeal, 24, began to follow the woman for blocks while yelling life-threatening profanities, police said.

How are kids watching their own parents commit road-rage like they are animals with no self control?

SHELZ GOES TO THE MOVIES: BMF & WU TANG MOVIES!

Black Mafia Family Coming to a Screen Near You.

James Dubose, the guy who produced Keyshia Cole's reality series, has purchased all media rights to the story of the Black Mafia Family (BMF). He's already alluding to his plans for the story which include a weekly television a series, a movie and a book. If you don't remember, the leaders of this group were recently sentenced to 30 years in prison a piece for charges involved in the alleged criminal operation they were running. The Atlanta faction of the group was also rumored to have some kind of relationship with Jeezy. I wonder who is going to play him in the movie.

Just in Time for Christmas…

The Wu Movie. We have been hearing about this for a minute, right? Well it looks like the release date has been … well … released. It's November 18th if you are interested. If you don't know what I'm talking about, watch the trailer.

Looks like Usher's wife is knocked up again as we reported months ago.. Damn this chick is more fertile than fresh cow manure on a new patch of grass!

Queen Latifah says F**k Off so what if you think I'm gay...

In a recent interview with the NY Times Queen Latifah touched on the issue, but we love the Queen so we don't care:

“I don’t have a problem discussing the topic of somebody being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life. You don’t get that part of me. Sorry. We’re not discussing it in our meetings, we’re not discussing it at Cover Girl.” Queen Latifah told Witchel. “I don’t feel like I need to share my personal life, and I don’t care if people think I’m gay or not. Assume whatever you want. You do it anyway.”

Diddys New Ciroc Ad in case anyone is interested:

@ Illseed - "Tell me Obama didn't body McCain, especially when he said "I don't understand…""  - He bodied the hell out of McCain last night. When everyone thought Obama would be out of his league in that town hall forum, all McCain had was his pen and legal pad full of notes. GOOD MORNING ALL

@Kelis
I don't think 50 is behind this although there are messy asses who would say it to kick up some drama. He had the chance at using this against him along time ago and didn't. There are some lines you don't cross. Wendy said it's something 50 would want meaning he is not the one peddling it. Nas married the heffa because they had great sex. Once her career flopped and he was between albums, he realized they really didn't like each other that much. It takes more that passion to maintain a relationship. Anyone is your bestfriend when their naked! Sad.

@"RiRi"
She is everywhere ALL the time. Even w/ reports that her money is short, she still in the 'rgiht' places to be caught shopping. Then will want to say she wants privacy. Sad.

@Rick Ross
?????????? Now it's you. You say to this person you never hid your life, but when it came out you said repeatedly that it wasn't you. If you would have told the truth it would be different. It was not like dude was getting my dollars anyway, but now I really don't have time for him. Sad.

It's sad that people get into this business humble and soon at the get fame (not money) they start to believe their own hype. Fame always comes before the money and the FOOLS feel they need to front whether it is w/ Rent-a-Swagger, leased cars, leased homes, tall tale backgrounds, and rented jewels. Sad.

Be blessed.
Love.

Side Note. It's fucked up to think about Obama Not gracing the White with his Presidency because he is Black.
that Man is clearly the smarter of the two candidates. He is well rounded and appeal to the masses. Maybe not america's masses. (Caucasions), But the majority of the world, and that is important when the United states puts so much infasis on Foreign Policies. Morning Ahh La Familia!!!!

@ Kelis havin a sex tape, yup Ill I said the same thing, Fiddy DID mention this ish a while back also......can't think of which song it was, it wasn't "Piggybank" it was another one, oh well someone on here will know which one it is, lol......

@ Kardinal pickin Keri Hilson over RiRi....I don't see why, they're both just pretty faces that really can't sing worth a damn so what difference did it make.....

@ Ye premiering his video on Ellen, I love her!!! She's the coolest white chic ever...it could have something to do with BETs recent executive decision on a show that helped his career, would be my reason.....the video looks like a man scorned at home alone to me...the dancing africans can be a sign of freedom. The song is strange so I didn't really expect the video to make any sense. I still love you Ye!!!!! : )

@ Common's video, I like his better than Ye's...I wish he would do a follow up with "Testify"...I really wanna know what happened?!?? And wassup with these recent photos of him dancing inappropriately with a 16 yr old high school girl?!? Aint he supposed to be engaged to Serena?!? Follow up on that Ill...inquiring minds wanna know!!!!

@ people mad @ Jay....get a life.

@ Vibe declaring Eminem as the best rapper alive...I love Em and all but I think this is to throw out accusations of them being racist because they won't give Robin Thicke a cover....everyone knows the best rapper alive is Hov, stop kiddin yourself!

@ Mark Karasick buying the birthplace of hip hop for $7 mil...I heard dude was black....

"There is new intel that the the Secret Service might be seeking to find someone that shouted “kill him” in reference to Obama at a McCain/Palin event. SMH at these people – trying to start a race war."- smgdh, signs the world is coming to an end.

@ Halle working on another kid....good for her.

@ Rick Ross coming clean....Illseed, please stop entertaining this madness, no one cares...if he never tried to hide his past why is he just now addressing the issue?!? Everybody is on some more shit now, he needs to just chill on all that.

@ Robin Thicke's comment re Rihanna, how was this a diss?!? I don't think she sounds like MJB at all....she can't really sing to me.

smh @ signs the world is coming to an end...damn fools, those poor babies...I feel bad when I use too much profanity in front mine...some people shouldn't be allowed to reproduce.
I refused to click on the signs the world is coming to an end pt. 2 because Im at work and I dont wanna get upset.

@ Usher's wife getting pregnant again, didn't she already have kids before they married?!? Not that it's any of my business but I hope she gets her tubes tied after this one...unless she's trying to compete with Brad and Angelina....

@Eminem being the 'Best Rapper Alive"
This is the dumbest shit I've heard in a while. So we've all gotten together and named somebody the Best Rapper alive? WHY? Ok, so when did Kool Keith, Rakim, KRS-One, Talib, Black Thought, Ice Cube,Scarface, BunB Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, NaS, Pos, Ghostface Killah, Masta Ase, MF Doom, Poison Pen, Sub Conscience drop dead? All these cats are better than Em, (Yes I put Kool Keith in front of everyone!) and if their not, their worth mentioning. I'm tired of people proclaiming that they are the best Rapper alive. for you to do that, you must have personal self esteem issues. It's like what Kool Keith said in an interview, you must look in the mirror in the morning and say "I'm Wack"

I'm going to dissect your points.
1)I think Biggie did that first, Not 100% on that
2) I KNOW Masta Ace did that. Em being a HUSE Ace fan was inspired by that and used it.
3) He sounded better than jay on that, because he knows how to flow on his tracks, because he did it. The Big n Pac don't count, because doing songs with dead people don't count. by the way, Em is another disiple of guess who?...........

If t Boz does that show it will give her more publicity and money so that's a good thing.. Get urs t Boz

Congrads to usher and Tamiks on their new edition. But really who really want to bring kids into this societythat's fucced up, nat me.. That goes for Halle too.. But if that makes them as a whole individual that's good for them.. Just think of the consequences our future kids will have to face within the future- if there is even one..

smh at worlds end, kids should never have to go thru any of the bs.. Check this tho.. Two weeks ago on a Thursday evening my lil brother who has my kids because I'm here (hospital).. Was shot 3 times in front of my babies!! Yes.. That was pretty crazy and trust I was going crazy in here.. Thankfully he surived and is recovering from the bullet wounds.. and that my kids were safe didn't get caught up in btw the mess but they were there. And that pissed me off.. Cops done took them to CPS.. It was a mess and I felt helpless.. Had my older brother fly in from the bay the very next day and he picked up my kids.. That's why I been in here lately.. Just getting hit with drama after drama..anyways I wanted to send the news article to illseed for worlds end.. But I changed my mind because I never wanna read about my kids in worlds end smh.

I watch parts of the debate last night..obama did his thing.. And u know how they televise a debate conference afterwards.. The poll was coming in regards of who thought won the debate and obama was leading with the results.. The republican debaters in that conference were like: we have to consider that obama would be getting his results because he's black.. And we can't take the poll seriously because its anbody voting in the poll and they could be putting mulitple poll votes.. Not in their exact words but in simple  terms im putting it for ya'll.. What I think of that is the freaking republicans are tryna make it a racial thing! That's fucked up!! And i can't stand that bitch Sarah palin! She just done screwed herself up with all that racial talk! Seriously both mccain and palin will not help our country at all they will lead us into another great depression! Sarah is loving all the attention from the media and running with her mouth.. Bitch needs to shut up b4 she get smacked up.. Uggh I can't stand the mccain party!! Governor napalitaino from Arizona isnt even supporting him at all.. She's all for obama.. And check this the Navajo reservation the four corners states are supporting and campaining for obama..for once me and my peoples see eye to eye and I'm glad they behind obama because my tribe is one hellaof a tribe that works mysterious ways.. Obama got this!

Before I forget to mention.. Rihanna is everywhere newstands, TVs on the radio.. I mean everywhere.. And I'm getting tired of hearing about her ass..

Anyways shouts to everybody!

I like Kanyes video also but I think there is a difference sometime between a producer/musicians mind and the rapper/singer. Because Ye' is musical he wants to explore all sounds like Pharrell does. Quincey Jones did it. Then the performing artist like Common like just sticking to what they mastered. Its a new sound but he's just raps. I respect both sides because hip ho needs diversity.

about the eminem thing, did u guys even see who was in the brackets for that lil "tournament"?
there wasnt all THAT much to choose from... jeezy? weezy? i even think lil kim may have been in there lol...
but naw it was some reader response tournament thing they had..
also, i know that eminem has acknowledged his infulences etc.
but he DID originate a way that he enunciates certain words at the end of his bars.. the way he made them "drag" a bit... even masta ace was talkin about how em introduced that style... then, ace used that style on some of the tracks on "disposable arts"..
ANYWAY, i think my main point is... he is ONE OF the greatest... but for real, to try n name one "greatest" is impossible, cuz there's too many factors u can judge it on, and not everyone judges it the same.. i mean, when someone asks me my fav mc, i have to name 5  cuz at any diff time with any given mood, one of them could be my fav...

THOUGH EACH WILL BE PROMOTED WITH SINGLES AND VIDEOS, ETC….THE PHYSICAL CD RELEASE IN STORES WILL BE “PACKAGED TOGETHER” TO ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL FIRST FEW WEEKS AT RETAIL.

HOWEVER, INTERSCOPE HAS SAID THAT THE DIGITAL RELEASES WILL INFACT BE SEPARATE PURCHASES .

I THINK THIS MAY WORK VERY WELL FOR BOTH ARTISTS…..CONSIDERING 50 CENT DIDNT DO MUCH LAST TIME OUT COMPARED WITH PREVIOUS RELEASES, AND EMINEM HASNT BEEN HEARD FROM IN YEARS.

BUT THEY BOTH HAVE TREMENDOUSLY LARGE FANBASES….AND SHARE SOME OF THE SAME FANS, YET DO HAVE A DIFFERENT CORE AUDIENCE, THEY EASILY COULD DO A MILLION PLUS FIRST WEEK AT RETAIL.

If you bought $1000 of stock a year ago, you would now have:

$91.28 if you bought Washington Mutual

$37.50 if you bought Neomagic

$21.29 if you bought Freddie Mac

$20.79 if you bought Fannie Mae

But, if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the recycling REFUND... You would have $... 214.00 in cash.

So the best investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

It's called the 401-Keg Plan

"Eminem is WHITE, how is he the best rapper alive?? Cant be!!"

Yeah, well it was always said a Black Man can't be president too.

Im not even gonna go in, but I will say that all music is in the ear of the beholder. People are subjective and music is subjective, so an objective list like Top 100 HipHop songs or The Best Rapper Alive, are always gonna spark emotions.

"not even in the same league as Jay-Z, Nas, Pac, Biggie, or maybe they name me somewhere at the bottom, right after AZ, or say he ripped that Biggie verse or that Jay-z

Yo his verses were crazy, on that renegade beat, but I never boguht no whole CD of Shady, and all I hear is pop tunes come on the radi-OH and I hear em 20 times in a row daily

And that very well maybe the same reason they dont say me when they speak on hiphop legends, which has amazed me, cause I thought the formula was to hit mainstream, and make it big-big-big-big baybay baybay"- Eminem The-Reup "We're Back"

==========================================
Thats sooooooooooo mean!!! She's not ugly, she just doesn't fit the average "video hoe" image and I think that's why the black community doesn't accept her....the white people don't have a problem with her, just us!!! It has nothing to do with the fact she's an older woman, look @ Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, she was previously married and had kids and they appear to be very happy and no one ever has anything negative to say about those two! It has nothing to do with her having a minor misdemeanor before they became an item....Winona Ryder got busted for stealing and no one has even mentioned that shit again! It's because we black people are color struck! It's been going on for yrs...I remember when I was little my friends mama used to tell them to come in the house before they turned dark, like dark is ugly! This is why a lot of us should've tuned in to that episode of Tyra when she discussed light -vs- dark...you would be amazed at how this shit goes on in every black household in America! Everyone thinks light skinned blacks are treated better by society, it's a sad fact that we've been struggling with for decades.

...anyways, on a lighter note, I'll be back with my own rumors.

I heard Ye aint gave Jay the songs he was supposed to do for BP3, here's the report:

October 08, 2008. What in the world is going on. MediaFakeOut.com is hearing rumors from EXTREMELY reliable sources that Kanye West has yet to deliver all the necessary tracks for Jay Z's upcoming album Blueprint 3.

And it gets more odd. The insider told MediaFakeOut.com that Jay Z's people have reached out to Kanye about the tracks - and so far they haven't heard back.

Jay Z's album Blueprint 3 is supposed to hit stores on December 2nd.

....uh uh say it aint so! I keep tellin yall my boy goin thru some things, let Ye make it Hov, let him make it. Ye needs a vacation, seriously.

Beyonce stealing another DC member's shine (this girl is like a female Fiddy Cent, lol)

October 08, 2008. Former Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams released her third solo album yesterday. But don't expect to hear much about it this week. Why, you ask? That's because Beyonce is releasing TWO SONGS today!!!

MFO had mentioned a few weeks ago that Beyonce would postpone the release of her two latest singles until her former Destiny's Child bandmate's album had a week on the charts.

But now, it appears that someone changed their mind. As of this morning Beyonce has OFFICIALLY released her new song If I Were A Boy to radio. She's expected to release another track later on today.

And while this is bad news for Michelle. It's GREAT news for Beyonce and for us. Listen to If I Were A Boy - what do you think???

@missdallas - I beg to differ  lol, tomika is pretty (i love chocolate women ) but I think  its more so who she is, 1- she's older than he is, 2 - she already has kids, 3 - she's  not caked up (so she appears to be after a golddigger to some) 4 -  this husband , new father , step daddy situation has put a spin on his music as well as his image..... I don't think his core fanbase who happens to be females is feeling that shit right now so tameka is being ridiculed for being in the picture.      I think people just feel he could do better as far as her personal situation. If  she was lightskinned  in the exact same situation people would still be examining her under a microscope.

What I AM surprised by is Jennifer Hudson moving 250K+ on her debut, that is really impressive! Congrats to her.

@ Rick Ross:
You admitted it!!! Congrats on manning up, if you can call it that.

@ the debate:
Honestly, I didn't watch it. I did follow along on a couple different newspapers' websites, some of them decidely on the "right", some on the "left", that way I could get both sides of each point, but honestly.... I don't care about the debates much anymore. Only reason I even followed at all was b/c there was nothing else to do.
I feel that way b/c I already voted, so nothing they say can affect my vote anyways.

I like waynes music but wayne is a prime example of this. wayne for a while was dressing like jim jones. like now you kinda see people trying to fuck wit the bright vivrant colors of the 80's again.....shit is going to keep changing

Your perception is very shallow, and because it's premiered on Ellen he's coming out?  I dont watch the show because im at work but she has an award winning show, the fact that a hip hop act could even get a debut speaks volumes of how huge hip hop has gotten.  This song has alot of crossover appeal and is expanding an essentially non progressive state in hip hop.  There's only a few artists not afraid to be different and innovative, Kanye is one of them, and whenever you try something different you will always have a group hating on it because it's different....kinda sounds like the Presidential election...

Its kinda sad how Rick ross is more proud of selling blow and coke than being a CO, which is an honest job for many people.  I really love hip hop but it gets kind of wack when everyone has to either glorify their drug dealing habits or make up a story of one.

-------------------------------------

cosign.  I mentioned that exact same thing yesterday.   It really isn't even about his music at that point.  It's the fact that a black man, who is in the public eye of a racist, judgemental society has the audacity to cosign sellin' coke...but does not want to admit that he had a legitimate job...even if it was being a CO.  I don't care if it was Rick Ross or Rick Fox.....images like that are not what we need to be perpetuating.  It has nothing to do w/ entertainment or yadda yadda yadda blah blah.  Its about changing how we are viewed and how we view ourselves when there is already this predominate, misinformed stereotype regarding blacks in America.

Only bad thing is that Kimbo wasn't really trying to block the assault once he was on the ground.

as far as kanye's love lockdown..I have no clue about whats behind it because I aint watched it..

Its funny when an artist drops their first album its their best album because I think kanye's first album was one of his greatest one.. Then after the fame and the money they really change and the rest of their Lp's don't sound as the first one because they on a whole different level and wanna jump the guns to be different.. Reality is they aren't as humble as they were from the get go.. They already their and they feel they don't have to hold up to those standards anymore.. And since them I aint really peeps kanye's music after he just changed  himself up..however I respect his artistic and I feel that he should take a break for a few months I mean he lost his mother and that is pretty big, and sometimes u need that break to refocus.. Idk about the whole vocoder thing, it only works for some folks but it sure sounds hella stupid when weezy and kanye use it.. It don't work for my personal listening but that just my opinion..

And I read yesterday that wayne is thinking of cater v.. Please take a break lil  Wayne not that I care but for once I wanna hear something different on the radio.. All they be playing is weezy and t pain music and young berg..

This convo sorta came up the other day...so I'll just reiterate what I said.  I don't agree w/ or condone the behavior, but there are too many other battles worth fighting for me to be worried about who a person is sleeping w/.  Personally, I'll neva understand, nor do I want to know, why a man finds another one sexually attractive ( ewwww...just makes my skin crawl thinking about it... ), but to each his own.  Now as far as a gay rapper goes.......there is a 200% chance that you will not catch me bumpin' Mc Fruity Freddy's male rendition of Lil' Kim's Hardcore album...lol.  That is definitely not the bizness. lmao.

Now....let me ask this question.  Would you stop supporting your favorite artist if you found out he was gay?  For instance......how many people would boycott Nas or Jay or Scarface if they found out them dudes was gay?

I'm not playing the race card on some "us against the world" type ish, or on some black vs. white.

I'm saying guess who's white, because I guarantee you MILLIONS of white people tuned in to vote for that Vibe "greatest rapper" shyt.  Period.

Em's nice, but Em is no "GREAT".  I like Em, but real talk, I have YET to get an ENTIRE CD that I can bang from start to finish.  Pac...I can do that with MANY of his.  Same with both of Big's.  Hell, even Outkast, NWA....EVEN TOO SHORT!

But not EM...

Em is a BEAST lyrically, but I feel like a body of work has to be accountable, and I don't think Em has dropped a 5 star album yet, has he?

I dunno...anytime someone who hasn't been HEARD of can be considered the GREATEST...then them votes need to be checked....re-checked, and double checked.  They need to REGISTER to vote next time...

EM IS NOT THE GREATEST...I think white america gave him that...

@Tupacfan - Sorry to hear all that babe...ouch...glad your seeds are safe...

@Rick Ross - Who cares...people like his music.  He should take more pride in being a working class cat back in the day.  makes him more relatable...

Slangin' and killin' your own people is NOT the business...

----------------------------------------

Jets locker room is 87% stinkier since Brett Favre's arrival
By MJD
That overpowering stench of death in the Jets locker room? Oh, never mind that. It's just a rotting animal carcass that Brett Favre stuffed into a bag and put in Eric Barton's locker. From The Fifth Down:

Favre is notorious for shenanigans involving lockers, and since his arrival to the Jets in August, the tradition has apparently continued. The latest victim? Barton.

Barton could not remember whether it happened last week or the week before. Nor did he know exactly what kind of dead animal Favre shot (presumably), bagged and dumped inside Barton’s locker.

Some teammates believe it was a wild turkey, but regardless, they all gathered around Barton’s locker and engaged in fits of laughter. The dead animal was inside a bag that was filled with blood and guts.

A wild turkey? That's not a bad guess. I think it was Ken O'Brien.

Whatever the unidentified murdered beast, I guess it's a good sign for the Jets. It's like that old saying ... you know you're starting to feel at ease around someone when you feel comfortable enough to kill an animal, put it in a bag, and stash it among their personal belongings. In his own special way, this is Brett fitting in.

I don't really know all the specifics as to what criteria they use for picking people to poll, etc.  All polls have the potential to be inaccurate or biased depending on the WHO and HOW.  If I poll 1000 people in Eastern Kentucky, odds are I'll get different results than if I polled 1000 people on the southside of Chicago.  From what I understand though...they say the Gallup poll has been pretty accurate in predicting political outcomes.    Personally, I don't trust or rely on them.

Please do two things -- takes 20 seconds.

1) Click on link and vote yourself. Here's the link:

2) Then send this to every single Obama-Biden voter you know, and urge

1st off it is immpossible to "sun" a dead man.                          2nd I give Eminem credit for being the greatest student in the rap game today. See its like this, he had an uphill battle. Against all odds he gained respect in a field known for not giving respect to outsiders. How did he do that? By analyzin the game. Like white boys did in basketball.They figured out a long time ago that they couldnt run as fast or jump as high so what did they do? Worked on that set shot. They got good enough to be on the team because they practiced. Eminem worked on his craft until he became vicious w/ the flow.

I think the battle for the king of Midwest is about to get real. We got Common, Mr. West, Twista, r. kelly, Em, Lupe (with all due respect to the rest of the Midwest) I keeping neutral but to say Em is the G.O.A.T is premature.

Sorry NaS, I know you may be a little salty right now.

Yo Sears...

"And ya say Chi City!?"...

But that Kanye track is ASS!

I'm sorry...I'm a major Kanye fan....

But premiering a song I had already personally felt was majorly HOMO on ELLEN just doesn't do anything to help your image when people are already questioning, ya dig?

Like...say R. Kelly...

There can only be SO many times where you are caught up with women who are minors, and then you have to say "okay niccah...you like lil girls"...

Kanye is starting to move oh so closer, and it scares me...because he's talented...

But I'm not down with the homo hip hop...not at all...

A while back 50 clowned him for that Love Lockdown ish...

And it may be the first time I co-sign 50 to the FULLEST...

Cause that track is on some, as you would say, "BOY PU$$Y STATUS"...

I  hope Kanye comes to his senses..

Haven't seen the Common vid yet...

^^^^^^thanks B*Braze:)

And I'll throw Jay in there too...

I mean, it's not to say Em isn't nice...but I really can't relate to most of Em's tracks...and I still don't feel his BODY of work on each album is up to par.  Production be so/so, especially when HE was doing a lot of his own production...Too dark.

I dunno...I just don't relate to chopping yo momma up, or throwing your girl in a lake, or any of the other crazy ish he's rapped about.  Can't hate on Em, because he does his thing, but I feel like white America is just "putting their stamp" of approval on Em because he looks like THEM...

I don't want to compare them giving that title to the "Step Up 2:  The Streets" with white folks on the cover, but that's what it feels like.

Feels like another attempt to take something that is sacred to us away from us...

but f*ck all that...IF Em was black, I don't think we would be putting him that high.  He can't get "bonus points" just because he white...that's not cool...

as far as kanye's love lockdown..I have no clue about whats behind it because I aint watched it..

Radio really did change hip hop..

=============================================
I c/s everything you said!! It does seem like when an rtist first hits the music scene they're more humble, probably because they don't have any money?!? LOL, I don't know but money is the root of all evil and it changes people all the time!
It seems like artists  are more passionate about the music they put out when they first hit the scene, after the album goes platinum it's like "well Ima do it my way this time around and I could care less who likes it and who doesn't because Im already worth such and such"......I too think Ye needs a vacation, bad.

Yes Wayne please, give us a break, no more til New Years! Stick to collabs for a couple of mos.!!! Love ya but Im sick of listening to you on every other record!!!!!

Good lookin' BP...

Something I wrote almost a year ago...

I still stand by this:)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, I'm not saying it's fair to blame ALL of life's ills on hip-hop, or on our artists, but we do have to realize when telling a story is starting to ruin our people.  My issue is there is no type of BALANCE in hip-hop. We need more DNyce and NYoil and what-not, if only to balance what we hear in hip-hop.  Back in the day, you had NWA, PUBLIC ENEMY, MC HAMMER, TOO SHORT, LL COOL J, RAKIM, HEAVY D AND THE BOYS, etc...ALL gettin' play on tv.  Now, if I want to hear something "original", I have to watch MTV, because BET only plays music that promotes violence, sex, and negativity to our people (at least as far as hip-hop goes).  Hell, if I want to hear some Common or people like that, half the time I have to watch VH1 (honestly, I rarely watch vids now, because they're somewhat boring).
Seriously, there is no balance in hip-hop.  I agree we can't blame hip-hop or music for our life's ills, but we also can't assume that we're not at all responsible either...
And Whitlock wasn't lying about those statistics.  It's sad to say, but Black on Black crime is killing us at a worse rate than what the KKK was pulling off....just look at the numbers. Numbers don't lie...
BTW... I previously said the NFL's handling of the Matt Jones situation wasn't racist in my eyes, b/c if an African American WR with no prior criminal record was in his position, the league would (or at least I hope they would) wait to see how it played out before suspending him.
However, I am going to have to do a bit of an about face. While I still don't think that's a great example of the NFL being racist, b/c while they are decidedly racist in some aspects, there are much better examples, the way the GOVERNMENT handled it IS racist! Did yall see that Jones is gonna get off on his charges with only having to do some "counseling"?! In order to be told that you have to do something, you have to plead guilty, so obviously he's saying he's guilty, and is getting off with THAT?!!! No way anyone other than a multi-million dollar/year making white man would get off with that kinda punishment for what he was found with! NO WAY in hell!
His studio albums are MUCH better than his live performance.  He doesn't hit all those high notes, when he tries they crack, and he can't dance.
Seriously...he should NOT be talking ish...
I was just wondering if anyone else had a different experience with him.
My homeboy said him and his girl went straight home from the performance and laid it down, so I think they had a different experience from hearing him...or they were just DRUNK.  I'm going with the latter, because his show was NOT the business...
Never seen Rhi, and don't care for her music, but I would still pay to see her perform before him...
I am getting vexxed over this agenda of trying to slide gay pride into OUR hip-hop culture! I am saying it here first and foremost that if you don't stand for something they will give you anything!
I know that Kayne is deliberately going to try and shake up the world of hip-hop with this coming out of the closet on his next album because it will feed his damaged ego!
Since Dr. West passed i do not see him even trying to keep that bullshit to himself. If you are cool with it then fine because I am not trying to beat anybody over the head for their comfort levels but to my true hip-hop heads that KNOW that hip-hop aint about no homo lifestyle, we need to boycott any forms of this garbage.
Kanye is so appreciated for his contriibutions to the culture and if he bows out gracfully there will be no shame in that but to use this medium as a platform that will influence more of the babies coming up in this culture that being a homo is cool then i will not sit by quietly. WAKE UP PEOPLE this is the beginning of the sneak attack!
P.S. - i do not expect ALL to agree with me but you will respect that I stand up for what I beleive is right! If you a homosexual and this offends you I am sorry. I have no prblems with you doing you but when you try to cross into the borders of mainstream hiphop culture then there will be repercussions! You will not get rich off of that type of message if HIP-HOP has any ounce of a voice left!
WANTED: Cop Killer Joanne Chesimard Remains Out of Reach in Cuba
Wednesday, October 08, 2008
By Michelle Maskaly
AP
Joanne Chesimard
This is a weekly series that profiles America's most wanted criminals.
----------------------------------------------------
To a few die-hard militants, Joanne Deborah Chesimard — aka Assata Shakur — is a courageous victim of a vast government conspiracy, a modern-day Harriet Tubman fighting for the rights of African-Americans.
But to American law enforcement, the 61-year-old New York City native is a cowardly, dangerous, cold-blooded cop killer who has been living openly and defiantly for nearly a quarter of a century in Cuba.
Chesimard, a member of the radical Black Liberation Army, has a prominent place on the FBI's Most Wanted list for the May 2, 1973, murder of New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster.
But unlike most of the criminals on the FBI's list, authorities know exactly where she is — a point that has frustrated law enforcement for more than three decades.
"Ultimately, Cuba doesn't honor the extradition that has been in place since 1940," said Lt. Kevin Tormey, chief detective on the Chesimard case for the New Jersey State Police and a member of the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force in Newark, N.J. "When Castro's administration came to power, they no longer honored it."
Chesimard, who is the godmother of slain hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur, has been heralded as a hero among some in the hip-hop community and political activist groups.
On her Web site, www.assatashakur.org, Chesimard claims she is innocent.
"I have been a political activist most of my life, and although the U.S. government has done everything in its power to criminalize me, I am not a criminal, nor have I ever been one," she says.
But authorities see things differently, and point to Foerster, the New Jersey state trooper who went to work on May 2, 1973, and never came home to his wife and kids.
Foerster and fellow trooper James Harper pulled Chesimard and two others over for a routine traffic stop on the New Jersey Turnpike about an hour south of New York City, unaware that the three were carrying semi-automatic handguns and fake identification.
Chesimard, 26 at the time, was already known by the FBI for her involvement in the Black Panther movement. She had changed her name to Shakur and was now a leader of the Black Liberation Army — one of the most violent militant black organizations of the 1970s. She was wanted in connection with a string of felonies, including bank robberies in New York.
Pulled over by the troopers, Chesimard, who was in the passenger seat, pulled out her semi-automatic pistol and fired the first shot. The passenger in the rear seat, James Coston, then fired multiple shots before he was killed by a bullet from Harper's gun. As Harper sought cover, Chesimard stepped out of the car and continuously fired at both him and Foerster, who was engaged in hand-to-hand combat with Clark Squire, the driver.
Foerster was shot in the abdomen and right arm. According to police accounts, Chesimard picked up Foerster's gun and put two bullets in his head, execution style, as he lay along the side of the turnpike. Authorities say her jammed handgun was found next to Foerster's body.
Chesimard, Coston and Squire fled and abandoned their car five miles down the road. It didn't take long for police to locate the car and Coston, who was found dead near the vehicle. A half hour after the shooting, state police arrested Chesimard. Squire was arrested a mile from the car about 40 hours after the incident.
Chesimard denied that she shot at anyone and claimed that the militant and cop-killer labels made her a target. But four years later, she was convicted of first-degree murder, assault and battery of a police officer, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault with intent to kill, illegal possession of a weapon and armed robbery.
Her supporters, however, believed she was framed. She received letters of support while awaiting trial and even released a radio address to her followers.
In a 1997 documentary about her, Chesimard painted herself has a political prisoner who was beaten in jail and treated like a slave while in the U.S., even comparing herself to Harriet Tubman, the runaway American slave who helped deliver dozens from bondage along the Underground Railroad.
On Nov. 2, 1979, Chesimard escaped from prison in New Jersey. Police believe a group of black and white domestic terrorists approached Chesimard while at a maximum security prison in West Virginia, but waited until she was transferred to a minimum security prison in New Jersey before plotting the escape.
Three members of the group who were visiting Chesimard ordered a corrections officer at gunpoint to open three gates that eventually led out of the prison. They escaped in a jail van.
Police say Chesimard was taken to a safehouse in East Orange, N.J., where she hid for five years. In 1984 she surfaced in Cuba, where she was granted political asylum.
Over the years, her legend has grown as her supporters continue to proclaim her innocence. Curious college students travel to Cuba to meet with her, family members send her goods, and she is paraded about during political events there. She reportedly has been pursuing a master's degree and living in a government-paid apartment in Havana.
All the while, U.S. authorities have been trying to bring her back to serve out her life sentence.
"We've tried everything you can think of," Tormey told FOXNews.com. "It's frustrating. Our goal isn't to combat that front [the Web sites and reports that claim she is innocent] as much as having her in a U.S. prison."
Jacuma Kambui, one of her supporters, told FOXNews.com in a telephone interview, "I describe her as a mother, grandmother, auntie, sister, daughter, a regular person that became the victim of a wicked system."
Kambui, who refers to Chesimard as Shakur, described himself as one of 6,700 members of The Talking Draw Correctives — an organization of Web sites that try to promote the will of the African people.
"There are a lot of people convicted of crimes they never committed," Kambui said. "One of the reasons [I continue to support] Assata is because she resisted the system and put herself in harm's way."
But the FBI, which has placed a $1 million bounty on Chesimard's head, says she is a convicted cop killer and remains a threat to others. She is considered to be armed and dangerous.
And despite what's known about her whereabouts, authorities say they won't stop working to capture her.
"We will talk to anyone, anytime, anyplace," Tormey said.
Sharpton convicted of disorderly conduct
•Civil rights activist sentenced to time already served after arrest in May 7 protests
•Crowds were protesting acquittal of New York City police in wedding day slaying
•Hundreds crowded streets, closing Brooklyn Bridge and delaying Manhattan traffic
•Sean Bell, 23, died in 2006 in a 50-bullet barrage hours before he was to be married
Next Article in Crime »
    NEW YORK (CNN) -- The Rev. Al Sharpton was convicted Wednesday of two counts of disorderly conduct stemming from a citywide protest in May in which hundreds of people were arrested.
The Rev. Al Sharpton arrives in court Monday. On Wednesday, he was sentenced to time served.
1 of 2  Sharpton was sentenced to time already served after his May 7 arrest, said a spokeswoman for a New York Criminal Court for Manhattan.
The series of protests, dubbed a "Day of Civil Disobedience" by Sharpton, were coordinated demonstrations at various locations around New York City to express unhappiness with the acquittal of three police detectives in the shooting death of Sean Bell on his wedding day.
Hundreds of protesters crowded streets and blocked bridges, chanting and praying. The congestion momentarily shut down the Brooklyn Bridge and caused some traffic delays in lower Manhattan.
"In the spirit and teaching of Dr. [Martin Luther] King, we come to nonviolently say it's come to this point and we raise it to this level of attention and ask the federal government to step in," Sharpton said minutes before his arrest.
More than 200 people were arrested that day, and most were cited for disorderly conduct, police said.
Bell, 23, died in November 2006 in a 50-bullet barrage hours before he was to be married. The acquittal of the three New York City detectives on April 25 sparked outrage in New York and elsewhere.
Bell's fiancee, Nicole Paultre Bell, and Joseph Guzman, who was wounded by police during the incident, were among those arrested.
Kanye is off his rocker:
     - Entire vocoder album is a career suicide move. That     entire style is played out, not to say it sounds better on someone with a halfway decent singing voice.
     - Releasing his video on the Ellen show is just proving what his new fan base is. NOT HIPHOP.
     - The video makes no sense to me. Much like the song.
I feel as though artists need to concentrate on quality rather than quantity. I hear the same five people on the radio all the time. I need a hundred dollar bill, not a handful of nickles.
CHICAGO (AP) - Residents of foreclosed properties in Chicago and other parts of Cook County don't have to worry about deputies forcing them out. Sheriff Tom Dart says that starting Thursday his office won't take part in evictions.
Dart says he's concerned that many of the people being evicted are renters who were unaware that their landlords have been failing to pay their mortgages. He says his deputies have no way of knowing whether they're removing someone who has defaulted on a loan or someone who has been faithfully paying rent.
Dart says he thinks he's the first sheriff in a major metropolitan area to stop such evictions during the ongoing foreclosure crisis.
Dart says the number of mortgage foreclosures in Cook County has skyrocketed and will probably keep rising.
This is why we need to keep our support for Barack Obama strong. If these racist whites are the people on the fence, then there is no way they can be "swayed". So all of the people that believe we should "tone it down" so they can feel more comfortable, unequivocally, fuck them. I just donated a couple more dollars to the campaign. I hope Obama wipes the floor with McCain and his "kind".
Gay pride moving into Hip Hop: Example of positive, and negative
Kanye West - dated plenty of models, just lost his mother, probably emotional distress, with this cd, and his choice of singing everything. Have any of you lost your mother lately? Tell me how that feels. I feel sorry for the man. Is that an excuse for his style of music? No. Did he ever say "Love Lockdown" was real hip-hop? No! Hell, he even had Ellen Degeneres (sp?) introduce it. Not Rocsi and Terrence!** (**"real hip-hop" lol) I wouldn't play it all in my car and shit. But I think if you are smoked out, relaxing, maybe even going through some problems with YOUR lady (or not? ha) this is an alternative to niggas who don't like to play Keyshia Cole, or Kelley Price. Dig me? I am not a love lockdown advocate, but people are so quick to veto.. IMO
The example I have of somebody moving into the hip-hop culture with gay motives? (Possibly.. Very suspect) Johnny Gill: The Floor. Lmao, youtube that video. Please. It's like San Francisco after they administered the Hepatitis vaccine with all the AIDS in it. Oops! Big up to good music. We are going to need more than drug money and plump bitches shaking pretty soon. Ya'll know what time it (almost) is! And free prodigy!
