I got his passed off to me that Nas and Damian “JR Gong” Marley are about to release an album together. That’s right! Roots, rap and reggae! The pair are working some maneuvers out in Cali and will announced the full breadth of the CD. NICE!

CHRIS BROWN IS DOWN?

According to people.com. Chris Brown is feeling kind of down, since he’s got all these felony charges against him. Here is the report.

“Although he appears to be really strong through all of this, it’s really taking a toll on his spirit. People like me and Puff, we’re just trying to show him love and keep his spirits up while he’s going through all of the heat, and there are a lot people doing the same for Rihanna.

It’s really hard for him to focus right now on his music, even though he really wants to. At the end of the day, I’m not trying to justify it because wrong is wrong, but unfortunately, us as entertainers, we have to grow up on stage with a lot of people looking at us. And a lot of people forget that he’s 19, she’s only 21.”

Z-RO IN TROUBLE??

I heard a person by the name of Joseph Wayne McVey was arrested for some pretty serious traffic violations. Upon further analysis, we discovered that the person is quite possibly rapper Z-Ro, one of our favorite rappers from H-Town. Apparently, officers pulled him over (Why, we don't know) and they smelled a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the inside of the vehicle. Dude, I heard that Z-Ro (or the person we think is Z-Ro) admitted to smoking some of that lalala. They said they snatched up close to 14k in case and a weed cigarette from him. I know that Z-Ro has a pretty serious rap sheet...lets hope this is another Joseph Wayne McVey.

MORE ON LIL SCRAPPY

Here is more on the Lil Scrappy rumor. Dude left Warner a few months back and just released his group album Lil Scrappy & G'$ Up album "Silence and Secrecy" on Good Hands/G'$ Up. Here is the latest. I heard that Lil Scrappy Doo is signing to none other than Mr. Ludacris of DTP. Don't quote me on it, but that's what the streets are saying to me. Not a bad look actually. Lil Scrappy just caught G-Unit and Lil Jon at the wrong time. Luda!

COMMON'S SXSW FREESTYLE!

A woman gets raped. That is bad. Now, does it make the already dastardly deed worse that the woman raped was an 89-year-old UK woman? I know the actual act of rape is horrific, but the fact that this woman is sold, just seems to make it worse. Perhaps, because she last less time on Earth to recover? I don’t know. She was allegedly raped in her own home like 4 or 6am. They arrested the night club security officer of a local spot on Saturday evening and charged him with rape and attempted rape. This dude is 30 years old. What’s he see in a woman almost 60 years his senior? He must see he’s a sick puppy at this point.
