Lil Wayne is a fraud. A lot of us have lived through some violent times. I lived through the era when DC was the murder capital, so what? I grew up in the most violent area of DC in the 80s and 90s. I saw a lot of violence, I may have even been a part of some of it. So what?

That never made me want to kill any children, or pretend like I wanted to kill children. He is not asking for help, he is trying to continuously perpetrate that he is some gangster when BG, Juvie, and half of New Orleans already said that he wasn't a gangster. New Orleans is grimey but when was the last time he actually been there?

He is doing too many drugs, and taking his current popularity too seriously. If you are a teenager and you believe this clown you need a role model. If you are an adult and you believe this clown you need to reevaluate your judgment because it is not God that is making him make stupid statements so I don't have to wait for God to judge this clown.

He also had the balloon watermelon head in that XXL interview talking about address him like he is Malcolm X or Martin Luther King, I would love to invite his fake ass to actually try and do half the things he says so he can hit the yard and meet some real killers. They got PC for dudes like him. They would eat his man kissing gay ass for lunch.

Good job today Illseed. My thing is so what if Jay wants money, for the first time in a long time Def Jam is relevant again. They owe dude something, a lot of the artists that did not work out was because their products were not that good (LL) others spend so much of their budget on production and samples that the marketing budget don't have much left. Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers repeatedly Taser-shocked Polish
immigrant Robert Dziekanski at Vancouver International Airport on Oct.
14 and continued to shock him after he fell to the ground, resulting
in his death. A witness captured the entire incident on videotape.

Dziekanski had just arrived in Vancouver as an immigrant to join his
mother, who already lived in Canada. He spoke no English and became
distraught when he couldn't find her. The RCMP were called and, within
25 seconds of their arrival, they Tasered him.

The videotape, available on the Internet, clearly shows Dziekanski
Tasered again as he lay screaming on the ground with one of the cops
kneeling on his neck. Nothing in the video shows Dziekanski posing any
danger to the police.

The RCMP attempted to cover up their conduct in this incident. They
confiscated the videotape, releasing it only under threat of court
action. Their description of what occurred is clearly refuted by the
tape, which has been made public.

Public safety officials in Canada have been inundated with mail and
e-mails calling for independent investigations and a moratorium on the
use of Tasers. Some call for banning them altogether. The Polish
government called in the Canadian ambassador to discuss the incident,
and the Polish Foreign Ministry has called for prosecution of the
police in the case.

Since the incident, police in Canada's eastern province of
Newfoundland have suspended the use of Tasers. So far Federal Public
Safety Commissioner Stockwell Day has resisted calls from the
opposition demanding an independent prosecutor in the case.

On the same day that Dziekanski was killed, Quilem Registre, a
38-year-old resident of Montreal, was Tasered by police. She died
three days later.

There have been 18 Taser-related deaths in Canada since July 2003. In
the United States, the figure is much worse: 280 deaths since 2001.

In September, a student in Florida was Tasered at a campus forum when
he asked Sen. John Kerry why no one has tried to impeach Bush. This
incident gained widespread public attention. However, as of October
2004, Tasers had been sold to over 6,000 police departments in the
United States and abroad, and over 200 U.S. police departments had
purchased Tasers for every officer on the force. In 2003, they were
used in 354 incidents by the Phoenix Police Department alone.

Tasers have been used on very young children, on diabetics and
epileptics, on the elderly, and on people already under restraint.
While statistics are not available, racist police conduct supports the
assumption that African-American, Latin@, Asian and Native youth, who
are the target of an epidemic of police brutality, are also receiving
a disproportionately large amount of this widespread new type of
violence from the state.

MEXICO CITY — U.S. authorities are assisting the Mexican government in
the investigation of an American business jet that crashed in Cancun
this week with four tons of cocaine on board, officials said Thursday.

One of the men listed as the registered owners of the plane, Joao Luiz
Malago, said in a telephone interview from Brazil that his
Florida-based company sold the aircraft for $2 million on Sept. 16 to
a Lakeland, Fla., man and his partner, who Malago believed was from
Miami.

Malago said he feared the man was dead because he hasn't been picking
up the phone.

Officials at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico had no information on any
American citizens being killed or arrested in connection with the
aircraft, a 1975 model Gulfstream II.

"We're in the process of a judicial investigation that the Mexican
government is conducting and we are providing information,'' said an
embassy official, who wasn't authorized to speak on the record. "Part
of that investigation is to find out more about where this plane came
from and who had it before.''

Some news reports have linked the plane to the transport of terrorist
suspects to the U.S. detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, but
those reports cite logs that indicate only that the plane flew twice
between Washington, D.C., and Guantanamo and once between Oxford,
Conn., and Guantanamo. No terrorist suspects are known to have been
transferred to Guantanamo directly from the United States.

The jet, carrying the tail number N987SA, changed hands twice in
recent weeks. But how it ended up in the hands of suspected drug
traffickers remains a mystery.

The Mexican attorney general's office said the blue and white
Gulfstream II crashed on Monday in a remote jungle area on the Yucatan
Peninsula. Authorities seized 132 bags of cocaine weighing four tons.
Two men were arrested and jailed on drug trafficking charges in
Merida, officials said. They declined to identify the men, however.

The aircraft was sold on Aug. 30 to Donna Blue Aircraft, owned by two
Brazilians: Malago and his partner Eduardo Dias Guimaraes. In separate
telephone interviews from different parts of Brazil, both men said
they'd sold the aircraft to two Florida men on Sept. 16.

"We are not the owners of the plane," said Guimaraes, reached in
Goiania in central Brazil.

He deferred most questions to his partner, Malago, who said from Sao
Paulo that Donna Blue purchased the aircraft in July from a company
that had owned it for 10 years, and then flipped it quickly to two
Florida businessmen who paid for it in full.

McClatchy is withholding the names of the alleged new owners of the
plane because they couldn't be reached for confirmation.

The Gulfstream was awaiting documentation when it departed on Sept. 18
at 5:10 pm from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport to Toluca, outside
Mexico City, Malago said. He said he learned of Monday's crash after
receiving a call from an insurance company, but had been unable to
reach the new owner by phone and feared he was dead.

He said he knew nothing of the plane's history or what use it had been
put to previously. He said he'd been a pilot for 25 years and had
bought and sold planes throughout Latin America. "Generally you don't
know the history of the plane," he said.

At the time of the Guantanamo flights, the plane's operation was
managed by Air Rutter International, a California-based air charter
service, but was owned by someone else. Air Rutter's owner, Bill
Cripe, refused to identify that owner, except to say he was a
reputable businessman. Cripe also said he didn't know about any
flights to Guantanamo.

Man I grew up in Queens when Fat Cat, Supreme Team and the rest where doing their damn thing. When niggas was upstairs as soon as it was dark IN THE SUMMER in NEW YORK and all you heard was automatic gunfire and see bodies in the morning. Bay Area rapper Spice 1 is currently recovering in an East Bay hospital after being shot early Monday morning (December 3) in front of his parents' Hayward, California home (see "Bay Area Rapper Spice 1 Shot, In Critical Condition").

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the rapper's family revealed that he suffered a collapsed lung due to a shot in the chest.

"He's in pain, but otherwise he's coming along really well," his mother, Jean Green-Craven, 57, told the paper on Thursday (December 6). "He's a very lucky young man."

His family revealed that Spice 1 (real name: Robert L. Green, Jr.) told them that he was sitting in his Cadillac Escalade outside their home, listening to music and talking to his girlfriend on the phone when he noticed that someone had walked up to the passenger side of the vehicle and tried to "jimmy" the door.

Spice then demanded to know who it was right before being shot.

According to the rapper's step father, 57-year-old Jerry Craven, it's possible that someone was trying to steal the car not knowing his stepson was inside, due to the vehicle's dark tinted windows.

So far, no motive for the shooting has been established and no arrests have been made, Police Lt. Reid Lindblom told the paper.

@BFG, what's upper??? We're hangin in there. I got my kids a lil tent set up in the livin room, we got lanterns and shit. I got a gas stove top so it's not super cold in here. And we just sat all our food out on my deck in coolers to keep it from goin bad. As far as an Ice Storm, its basically just freezing rain in large amounts, it collects on everything, trees, power lines, etc and eventually brings them down. The trees fall on the power lines, and knock out power, or in some cases the power lines snap because so much ice has accumulated on them. Some hotels are starting to get there power restored but the minute they open they're full. I gotta room reserved for tomorrow, so as long as we can make it til then we'll be ok. Thanks for your prayers and support. This shit is devistating for real. Right at Christmas and everything. Its survival of the fittest out here. Its just fucked up how all the Wal Marts and Hotels are gettin their power on first. Doesn't seem right to me.

SPICE 1 UPDATE AS OF 12/9.

As reported Friday, Bay Area rapper Spice 1 is recovering in a East Bay hospital after being shot last Monday (December 3) in front of his parents' Hayward, California home.

Now, the rapper explains the story himself from his hospital bed.

According to what the 37-year-old rapper (real name: Robert Green) told InsideBayArea.com, the shooting happened just as widely reported, and as we originally reported (see "Bay Area Rapper Spice 1 Shot, In Critical Condition").

"I was just sitting in my car," Spice told the local paper. "I parked in front of my mom's house. I went to sleep because I don't like to wake her up that late."

The rapper went on to explain that he was sitting in his black Cadillac Escalade listening to music, eating a plate of leftover spaghetti and talking on his cell phone.

After falling asleep, he awoke and noticed someone standing next to the vehicle.

"I woke up. I see the dude and I start banging on the window. He got scared and ran and fired the pistol while he was running away," the rapper explained.

According to the paper, the bullet went through the passenger-side window, grazing Green's chin before striking him in the upper left side of his chest, as we originally reported (hit in the chin and chest, but was only shot at once).

Spice's mother, Jean Green-Craven, heard the rapper banging on the front door. When she answered he was pulling off his jacket and shirts, she told InsideBayArea.com.

"I can't believe those fools shot me," Spice told her.

Green-Craven saw drops of blood falling onto her carpet and a hole in her son's chest, which is when she called 9-1-1.

As she dialed, Spice went to the kitchen for a glass of water and collapsed, she said.

Since then, Spice has received stitches where the bullet had grazed his chin. According to the report, the bullet passed through his chest, puncturing his lung before lodging in the muscles of his back, but the bullet could not be removed.

He is in a lot of pain, his mother said, but is recovering.

The rapper has checking emails from his bed and is thankful for the support.

He told the paper that he is working on a new album, and this unfortunate incident gives him "something to work with."

We are living in the "Platinum Era" of Hip Hop right now. I predict that the "Platinum Era" will be dead by 2010 because all the artists going platinum are getting up in age. They have to inject some new blood because at some point people like Jay and Curtis might get like Doc Dre and be like fuck it.

We have to keep making that real Hip Hop. For instance, R&B and soul certainly is nothing like the 70s (where Hip Hop gets all its samples) because those artists are dead. New artists have to find their own voice and learn from the past the same goes for Hip Hop.

Today of course everything is about not being a hater. But that goes to the lack of critical thinking amongst our youth. They could never be scientists which is a very critical field. Can you imagine them proposing a new equation and their teacher instructs them that the equation is wrong. "Stop hating on me you hatin ass professor, I can subtract without knowing what subtraction means, you're just old, you don't kno bout dis real talk we got". No wonder they can't balance their bank accounts. Crazy.

Everybody knows Lil Wayne has a couple of screws loose upstairs. All you have to do is listen to some of his lyrics, or one of those crazy ass concept songs he makes. I feel you on all aspects of hip-hop not being covered. But I gotta draw the line at the unnecessary shit you added on to it. Why should anyone listen or accept what you saying when you disrespect them in the same breath. You got love for the Wu so focus on that. You don't have to down talk on what other people like to get your point across. I'm not going at you, but all hip-hop has to mean "all hip-hop." Not just what you deam it to be.

We all need to be reminded sometimes that music is for PERSONAL entertainment. And the only difference with this site pertaining to that statement is communicating with similar people to put them on some good shit they may not have known about. Not directed at you, but to many people get on here to hate on the other man rather than big-up good music. Then you have the childish ass people whose sole purpose is to start shit, or piss off the majority.

All that said; don't give up on the site. It needs more intellectuals, not less of them. Just don't lose half the people that need to read what you are saying because you slapping them in the face while trying to educate them at the same time.
