John Klemmer the Jazz musician? Yeah, he's kool. I used to dig in the crates but as my piano and keyboarding skills grow I look to customize my sounds more now than just sample off old records. I also like taking sounds from everyday activity outside and mixing that shit, I have some stuff that the masses won't get so I put out my lighter music.

I don't like women without a mind, but sometimes base instincts work best. It depends on my mood. From a sexual standpoint I meet very few women that really make my animal instincts roar and intrigue me intellectually at the same time. I can't do the strictly intellectual when I just want to be a beast. Personally I enjoy my base instincts as well the higher things in life. This is the joint from where Raz-B admits to being molested, raped, and or abused as a child, and he is even a spokesperson for a foundation that represents these special children.

Hip Hop production is a fusion, a synthesis. If you are going to sample instrumental selections from a James Brown album to find a break, and make a beat from that, then learning how to make custom musical production from scratch is even better in my opinion. Fusion Jazz, Electronica, a la Herbie Hancock, truly inspirational. Modern variants like Portishead and their hybrid style. People call it "alternative" or whatever. Music is free, rhythm is in everything.

As my expansion in music takes place, sampling isn't expressing what I'm feeling, it's expressing what those artists were feeling. I want to express what I feel no matter what it is, so the beats I make are a fusion of that, I don't just look to previously recorded albums to find selections. If only scratching and digging is considered premium Hip Hop production, what would you consider premium Soul production? They didn't sample, they created what they were feeling. That is what I meant.

As far as women keeping things under wrap, I don't mind nakedness, in fact, I think that the real surprise is not in seeing a woman naked, it has more to do with how passionately she feels. When sex is without depth of feeling that is worse than showing some flesh. She can walk around ass naked for all I care and let the whole world see it. So what? Just don't try to have sex with me like a robot. Inhibitions are the real sin they remove the natural spontaneity of the spirit.

In Genisus when it says "Let us make man". It was referring to the Father, Son, and Holy spirit. All three are Yahweh/Most High. Three different characteristics from the same spirit which is God.

Let me break it down like this: The Most High dispenced apart of hiimself and took on the body of a man(Jesus/Yahushua), and after he was killed on the 3rd day he rose and walked the earh for a time, then he ascended into heaven. But he left his Holy spirit with us when he ascended back to heaven.

The Holy Text does not teach us to worship fallen angels or demons. The scriptures tell us to worship only the Most High. Not man or Satan.

Yeah I love Hip Hop, but Hip Hop is evolutionary to me. I understand what you're saying, you think Hip Hop is a pure art but I don't. I like to get to the basic raw elements. At the basic level sampling is a form of instrument selection.

Conceptually I can find a break in anything that has a rhythm or structure. Finding a break is not anything unique to Hip Hop production. Finding a break existed in Jazz, in Jazz the solo cadenza pauses between the melody before leading into extended solos.

I can find a break in two cricket sounds or water running down the drain. If there is a rhythm, there is a break. Why do you limit it to scratching and drum making? I'm not taking anything away from the top five Hip Hop producers, they just can't express what I feel, they can't create my sound. They have to do what they feel, and express their own sound.

Elements are rearranged in all music. There is an art to scratching and mixing no doubt about that, but if a producer doesn't scratch that doesn't mean they are not Hip Hop it just means they choose not to use the scratch. All music starts from basic elements, notes, chords, etc. You are saying the scratch is fundamental to Hip Hop. Indeed it is, but what is the scratch? The scratch is the needle of a turntable finding the break between two mixing songs created by the friction of the vinyl. Without the break, it's just noise, and the break is not restricted to Hip Hop.

You combine those elements, and then create a sound. The categorical genres of music are just surface pleasantries. Underneath all of that there is a harmony, notes, chords, the basic elements of all sound and that is what makes good music.

On the other note:
I have Requiem of a Dream by the way, a very very interesting film. I think that is the best movie that Marlon Wayans played in ever. Really showed the depths of his acting skills.
