The crisis negotiation team was never requested, tho Compton station is around the corner. The tape shows how the sheriffs maneuvered at every chance to drive toward one outcome, the one that get them home quickest.

The initial ranking K9 deputy on scene, sgt. Earnest Burwell, was ordered away when he refused to deploy his dog, cursing his lt. that the situation was contained & not K9 deployable. Burwell since filed internal complaint, quit the dept, agreed to testify & is in hiding out of state.

Lt. Patrick Maxwell ordered the end of negotiation & attack over a cell phone, drunk at a Sunday night party with his girlfriend. He has at least 3 other hot murders documented.

The K9 they killt was emergency airlifted to the trauma center while Deandre body was handcuffed & left for the coroners in the morning.

Deandre baby momma, Fonda, was locked in back the sheriff’s car on the street the entire time they telling him they can’t find her. The initial call was ‘domestic disturbance’ that Deandre split from.

He was on probation & playing for time to try to get her to squash the call, wanting to not return to L.A. gladiator school & knowing LASD policy directs them to not use deadly force in the absence of a visible threat. He was not on the run or wanted, & sheriff testimony notes they had strong understanding he was unarmed. The object he drops is a slipper from the porch.

They are the Jamaicans who taught Usain Bolt his footwork.

It is a dance called the "Nuh Linga," which was done by Bolt in front of the whole world Wednesday night. He wiped out the world record in the 200 meters on the eve of his 22nd birthday and it was party time.

This time he did no jive during the race -- Bolt ran hard from start to finish -- but he sure did get funky on both ends.

"He danced for us before the race and he danced for us after the race," said Shawn Crawford of the U.S., who through a weird stroke of luck wound up in second place.

"Him and athletics, they are just like Michael Phelps and swimming."

Athletics is the Olympic word for track and field. And this sport's answer to the amphibious Phelps is an islander with thunder in his right shoe and lightning in his left -- Bolt, the king of Kingston, the pride of the Caribbean.

Who choreographed his steps?

Ding Dong did. A dance troupe back home called the Ravers Clavers came up with a cool shimmy that Bolt likes so much, he does it before and after every race he runs.

The group's leader is Ding Dong (real name Kemar Ottey), a former DJ, and the Nuh Linga's creator is Overmars (real name Marlon Hardy).

Bolt was grooving in Lane 5's starting blocks in his gold Pumas, which have reported wild worldwide sales since the 100-meter record fell here Saturday.

Then he quit the dance and did the dash.

He covered 200 meters in an uncanny 19.30 seconds. He erased a Michael Johnson record (19.32) that some believed would stand for a hundred years, not a dozen.

And he made it look easy.

"Did that look easy?" Bolt asked, grinning from ear to ear. "No, that wasn't easy."

He made everybody else look slow, much the way Phelps did in a pool.

"I felt like I was swimming," Bolt said, pretending to do a little dog paddle. "I just kept telling myself, 'Don't die! Don't die!' "

Mainly, he made this run -- in fact, all of his runs -- look like fun.

Nobody was having a better time at the Bird's Nest than U-Bolt, who kissed the track, stuck his face into a TV lens to shout "I am No. 1!" and then again struck his trademark Apollo archer pose.

He hammed it up. He was the life of the party, less than an hour before midnight and his birthday.

His mother, Jennifer, was on hand. She was the one who told the Daily Gleaner newspaper in Jamaica how Usain has always liked to "clown around."

His father, Wellesley, also was there. He caught a plane after Saturday's 100 race, not long after telling a reporter that the key to Usain's speed was his lifelong appetite for yams.

Look for sweet potato sales to soar like Bolt's shoe sales have.

He was like Popeye with spinach. The old gold-shoed record holder, Johnson, said before the race that Bolt's 9.69 in the 100 was "the most impressive feat I've seen in my life," but he saw some even more impressive feet after that.

Bolt rewrote the books. He beat the swiftest runners in the world by remarkable margins.

One of them, sixth-place finisher Kip Collins, said with amazement, "I have to take two strides for every one he takes."

Asked if he could view Bolt's race as not just a competitor but a fan, Collins said, "I'm not a fan, but oh my God!"

What made Bolt this fast? Maybe God did, or maybe something man made did.

Sports Minister Olivia Grange says Usain Bolt ran himself into the league of the greatest Jamaicans of all time yesterday by smashing double sprint records in Beijing.

She rated his performance at the 29th Olympiad, where he won gold in the 100 and 200 metres in world record times, as comparable to Marcus Garvey's seminal, philosophical impact on the world and Bob Marley's iconic status as a music and revolutionary figure worldwide.

"Usain has placed himself amongst our greatest heroes. He has brought the name Jamaica to the lips of billions of people worldwide. He has introduced them to a great nation and a great people," she said. "At this point, he is our greatest ambassador and he is not only taking our athletics into the mainstream, but he's working overtime to ensure that Jamaican culture is recognised across the world."

Bolt not only erased Carl Lewis' 24-year record of winning both short sprints at the Olympic Games, but also rewrote Michael Johnson's 12-year 19.32 record in the 200-metre by posting a phenomenal 19.30 seconds. He became the first man in history to break the world record in both races, having recorded 9.69 in the 100-metre on Saturday.

Minister Grange said Bolt had positioned himself to stand among the nation's greatest achievers from all walks of life with these results.

"What we witnessed tonight (last night) in Beijing was extraordinary. As we say in Jamaica, 'it nuh normal!' We always knew Usain was going to be special in these games, but it's hard to believe what we have been witnessing in Beijing. This will be taught in schools; it will be included in history books; Usain Bolt is a legend that will be part of Jamaican folklore for centuries to come."

"I wish him a happy birthday tomorrow (today) but he's so special that he chose his own birthday present. We often look on in awe at people from other countries doing astonishing things. This is the time for others to look at Jamaica and as sports minister I'm in a continuous state of euphoria in Beijing. I can't imagine that it could have been better," Grange said.

Minister Grange also congratulated Melaine Walker, who devastated the field to cop gold and an Olympic record in the Women's 400-metre hurdles.

"Melaine came into these Games with a fantastic record. She distinguished herself as a champion. She capped the night when Jamaica reminded the world that great achievements come from our tiny island. Melaine has brought joy to so many people in Maxfield Avenue, Kingston, and Jamaica on a whole.

"These athletes are not only showing the world that we are special but they are telling ordinary people in Jamaica that we can be what we want to be. Our young people have many reasons to draw inspiration from what we are seeing. We want to use these successes to reassure those who are already on the path to success and encourage those who might be headed in the wrong direction to find focus and share in the bliss of success," she added.

How many of the aforementioned's names were 25 or younger when they came to the peak of their greatness?

Muhammad Ali? Do we hold a 25-or-younger to his standard?

There are great athletes making strides in their 20s right now, now aren't there?

Secondly, I don't think it's any fault of the 25 & younger crowd that there is little (not none) representing from the perspectives of the aforementioned rappers. They are out there, but they are not being pushed thru the doors of the industry. There is no 25-and-younger person deciding what gets pushed to the masses. If the exec's say give me "Bust-It Baby", "Murk Dat Nigga", and "Let Me Smell Yo Dick" the youngster's (and even older cats) are gonna scramble to fit that mold and hope to be pushed thru to the top. Just like the convo that took place yesterday (or today, I dont remember) about talking intelligent being "white" and talking ig'nant being "black," the same rules apply in music.

Ok, so Lupe Fiasco just made 26 this year, but I'mma count him in the representer of the 25-and-younger crowd cuz his albums dropped b4 he turned 26.

But if the industry standards consider socially conscious music "uncool" and destructive music "cool", ppl are going to sway twd popular opinion while making their music to ensure their success, and the masses who look to the artists as role models will follow suit.

If the coolest music out there was socially conscious, these youngsters who try to emulate these rappers would be competing to sound/be the most socially aware and intelligent.
But these youngsters try to compete to be the most thugged out and ignorant or sex-kitten-ish..

I kno as a female rapper, I haven't compromised my integrity for a quick promise of a hook-up in the industry..

But I did compromise my preferred lyrical content/style for the sake of saying "Yes, I'll feature on this song." For whatever reason, once somebody finds out you are Adopefemalemc,lol. they ask u to feature on a song, and u set it up. U arrive at the studio, and the songs talkn bout "We can get away, don't worry bout yo man or my woman, lemme make u forget about him.." Or they want u to be a Gangsta Boo or Mia X knockoff b/c they just want a female on a "killa" song.

I've found clever ways to use wordplay where I don't hafta be as raunchy or ignorant..but that's not what I want to lend my gift to, so I started running ppl thru the strainer. Set it up thru management, and he'll listen to the song u want me on and let u kno if I don't do that type of music.

But imagine those w/ no guilty conscience for lending their gift (or lack thereof) to bullsh*t? The less patient..the more desperate..those w/ less morals..those who don't have a little sister who watches her every move..

Far as not sportin it natural, the last time I let the mane blow in the wind, all natural, the CEO of the company I work for asked me what was I gonna do w/ my hair.

Pac was / is my favorite rapper...so I'm going to try not to be biased when I break this down.

Here goes...

She could be telling the truth. In all honesty, that does sound like some Deathrow 'Pac shit...years after the whole Brenda's Got A Baby, Keep Your Head Up, etc shit. People do change, and I've read a lot of shit about Pac and how he just went loco when he was on The Row. And...seems like she would get more publicity had she written about Biggie going upside her head (which was rumored for awhile) had it been true. So, she could be telling the truth about Pac.

At the same time, I've also heard Snoop credit Pac for saving his marriage, and how Pac used to visit schools and all that shit...DURING HIS DEATHROW DAYS. Secondly, how do you explain that Pac / Faith photo...both of them looked nice and cozy and fucked up in that picture and a lot of times if you get fucked up with a dude you're also fucking him.

Next, of all people Pac would actually threaten, why Faith? Faith was a popular singer, had bread, and in the spotlight back then...she could have easily proved that shit, and better yet, just ratted on Pac and the folks woulda sent his ass back to jail considering his record. And if all this is true, I wish she would have ratted on him and got him locked up cause Pac would have been alive today. Next, why didn't Biggie or Diddy speak out about this?? I mean, threatening a woman is some serious shit and I'm sure she had to tell someone about this. Why is this the first we're hearing about this? So I guess my question is...why come out with all that now?

Why is Faith "telling all" NOW???? Seems like she would have come out with this during the heights of the Pac / Biggie beef, when Pac was saying that he fucked her. She had the platform back then and she could have easily told the world what she wrote in her book. Why wait until now and fuck with this cat's legacy? Could it be that her music career is over and she's trying to sell books now? I mean, the chick ain't sold records in God knows how long, and even when she was making noise...she wasn't really making noise ya know?

I hate to always say that these chicks are just after the money, but it really does seem like this is the case with Faith. Sounds like she hired a really good writer and fabricated this shit to me. Either that or that scenario she described was REALLY exaggerated! Shit ain't adding up, b. Reading that excerpt was like reading "2+2=10" or some shit.
