Iike I said I hate to see him go but I'm glad he's going out on his own terms. he's been saying for the longest that his gameplan was to put out 3 & then gracefully bow out so to say the game is retireing him is not fair. he would be the first to give it up @ the top of his game.....many have tried none have succeeded . artist I respect I always purchase there real cd's, z-ro, scarface, lupe,trae killer mike,bone, nas,kanye, ball & mjg, ugk to name a few. if you put out good music ima support you.

roger was a pioneer with it, teddy riley did his thing too.......but yall have to admit after t-pain came out niggas started overdosing on that autotune. before he pumped life/interest back in to it it was rare to hear any artist using it. you had people here in there but after him there was a significant increase in mufuckers zapped out.
dj khalid is doing his thing but dude is annoying on tracks to me, just my oppinion lol.

PRESS RELEASE

On Monday, November 3rd, Black Solidarity Day, the day before the epic 2008 national election,there will be an important march and rally ‘In Defense of The Black Vote’ in downtown Newark.

Participants will assemble at Broad and Markets at 11am and will march to the Federal Building and then finally to City Hall at 12 noon.

Endorsers and participants include the Peoples Organization for Progress, The Elizabeth Branch of the NAACP, the Street Warriors, Stop Shootin’ and the New Black Panther Party, its principal organizer.

The purpose of the march is bring attention to the large scale efforts tohave voters purged from voting rolls in at least ten states. The states include Ohio and Florida, the two states through which many feel the2004 and 2000 elections were stolen from the Democrats. They also include Nevada, Colorado, Michigan, Indiana, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and Louisiana. The numbers are already in the hundreds of thousands. This appears to be happening to predominantly Black and Latino voters. March organizers believe that this is more than enough to steal this election as well, but more importantly, disenfranchise legions of voters in the process.

“We are talking about hundreds of thousands of people being purged from the polls!” exclaimed Zayid Muhammad, the event’s lead organizer.

“It’s just not being adequately addressed by all sides. The Justice Department should be mobilized to the fullest in all those areas to make sure that this historic election is fair, and not stolen.” he finished.

Black Solidarity Day is a ‘Day of Absence’ conceived and developed by Prof. Carlos Russell in 1969. It was inspired by Douglas Turner Ward’s epic racial satire A Day of Absence, where all the Black laborers quietly absented themselves from their rigidly segregated community. It took on mythic dimensions when Assata Shakur was freed from a New Jersey prison on that day in 1979. It was very popular in the northeast, especially New York, well until the 1980s. It was the background for meaningful anti-Koch protest in mid 80s New York City. Essential a boycott principle, at the heart of the concept is the Black community selectively withdrawing itself from local and sometimes the national economy to make a political point. Black Solidarity Day is always observed the Monday before Election Day.

Eh, I bought Ninja Gaiden 2 yesterday and this is one of the bloodiest, challenging games I've played in a long ass time. The camera is kinda annoying because Team Ninja makes the player control the camera. So it's like a real fight, you know how in games you can normally focus on just one enemy at a time? In this joint you be slaughtering one enemy, and then like 4 more come and attack you at the same time. You have some sick weapons though. He got combo attacks where he decapitates an arm, but the enemies still be trying to kill you with one arm. You have to chop their heads off and finish them.

Just had to come in and call bullshit on the Isiah Thomas thing. It WAS Isiah who Overdosed. I know a homeboy who works for the hospital Isiah was taken to, and, well, as the medical personel who reported to Isiah's house said, "They know the difference between a middle aged African American male and a young African American female."
If Isiah was covering up for his daughter, they still would have taken the DAUGHTER to the hospital, since she would have been the one who was feeling ill. But since it was Isiah who went to the hospital, it's obvious he's lying like a muthaf****.

President Bush has been absent from the campaign trail in the final days.

WASHINGTON (CNN) – In the waning days of the election season, as both parties campaign fervently for their candidates, one man has been notably absent — President George W. Bush.

Reporters began asking questions immediately after the White House schedule last week noted Bush had no public events Friday through Monday, and would spend most of his time at Camp David.

Watch: President Bush in 'hiding'

"The president is pretty focused on the activities that we have here, especially getting this economy back in order," White House Press Secretary Dana Perino said Wednesday.

"We canceled a lot of our fundraisers, and he's going to focus on being with Mrs. Bush and others this weekend at Camp David."

But Perino couldn't list any fundraisers that had been canceled recently.

Friday, Deputy Press Secretary Tony Fratto offered a more detailed explanation.

"The truth is we're also trying to stay out of the public limelight during this period of the election season," said Fratto. "There are two individuals out there running to be president of the United States, and we don't want to complicate that for them."

Political experts acknowledge the reality that a lame-duck president with record low approval ratings — 28 percent according to the latest CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll — is a political liability for Republican presidential candidate John McCain.

5 found dead near the 405 in Long Beach

CRIME SCENE: Police walk away from the scene where five homeless people were found slain in an encampment on West Wardlow Road just east of Santa Fe Avenue in Long Beach.
Police say the victims, who were staying in a makeshift homeless encampment, were killed by gunfire.

Five people were found shot to death early Sunday in a makeshift homeless encampment covered by thick brush near the 405 Freeway in Long Beach, police said.

The crime upset neighbors and puzzled police, who had no suspects and struggled to comb the rugged terrain surrounding the crime scene near the freeway's intersection with the 710 Freeway.

An anonymous caller tipped authorities Sunday morning about a slaying in an area near the 1500 block of West Wardlow Road. When Long Beach police arrived, they found two women and three men dead, some with multiple gunshot wounds, authorities said.

Residents in a nearby apartment complex on West Wardlow Road said they heard several gunshots and shouting early Sunday morning.

The crime scene is east of Santa Fe Avenue near Tanaka Park, on property owned by California that is sandwiched between the 405 Freeway and Kohler Rental Power, a commercial building on the north side of West Wardlow Road that rents diesel generators and other power accessories.
