it worked out well.

i truly hope everybody is feeling good and content, in good spirits.

i am super tempted to just take some medicine, which i dont normally ingest, unless u counting the natural earth grown type. ;)

but maybe i'll take some DayQuil 2day, so i can get up and go shopping. they say the sales are off the hook. shoot, i want some Xmas presents too. LMAO

Jay-Z does nothing! Nothing is gonna happen, absolutely NOTHING. This isn't 2001. In this day and age, we are SO STARVED for "rap beef" b/c the rap game has turned into a big snooze. Jay went after Jones on the Kingdom Come album, but everyone was into "ballinnnnnnn!" and callin' Hov "old." He responded on "Dig a hole," and had his own version of "ballin" and Jim Jones laughed it off and thanked Jay for giving his song MORE spins, b/c everytime they played Jay's version, they played Jones version in return. So in reality, Jay didn't do anything AND may have lost a few fans in the process, b/c this 'under 21' fan base was riding this "DipSet wave"... Everything was 'DipSet this' and 'DipSet that."

I know these are ONLY rumors, but I don't believe ANYTHING until I see it or hear it with my own eyes. I've been hearing about SO MUCH over the last 2 yrs, ONLY to see SO little. I was hoping Jay went after Wayne, the man goes on tour with him and does a track... I was hoping for a Jay & Nas album, that's never gonna happen... So enough about Jay. Let's put his legacy to rest. Dude will be remember as an all time great, but I honestly think that it's just a new era emerging and we just have to let go. Sadly, we have to watch Wayne be given the crown by default, b/c we're being brainwashed into believing he's SO GOOD, but I'm through with the Jay-Z rumors. Hustlin i didnt think Zeitgeist was sayin that Jesus was a Sun God.

i figured it to mean that the Sun was/is God's son. and then humans interpreted that in a literal sense and designated Jesus as such.

taking ancient knowledge and shaping it to fit a present reality. whenever "present" is. and the cycle continues on forward to "present."

thats how i took it, thats what that meant to me.

i think that the problem i have with religion, generally speaking, is how people tend to interpret things so literally with regards to it.

our reality around us is nothing more than a constellation of symbols, which are open for interpretation. but are most often are just passively agreed upon thru conditioning processes.

like 1 of 2 default beliefs systems that we "believe" to be our only options.

i believe that most ppl battle themselves back and forth between the 2, at different points in life, esp as circumstances require.

but there are also other alternatives imo.

thats all, i know it wasnt my convo. just caught what u said about Jesus not being a Sun God.

my believe is that all the religions are derived from or influenced by sun worship

man, throughout history has worshipped or feared pretty much everything he didnt understand

those til this day, are still the most common responses to lack of knowledge on a subject.

Sorry to hear you're sick lady. Hope you get well soon. I usually get sick twice a year, once on my birthday and once on Christmas. I think my immune system just does it to get training fighting the newest virus. I haven't been sick yet tho. Thank God, I'm way to busy being on call through the holidays.

I just gotta crack up when folks try to look oustside the Bible looking for Jesus. It's like walking into the grocery store and getting mad that they don't sell cars. Alot of people are turned of of Christianity by the dogmas and doctrines and past transgression of the church and don't think that's by accident. The path is narrow and hard. Biblically all of those called on by God, or the most rightous in God are killed, tortured, beheaded, crucified, fed to lions, sold into slavery and just generally treted terribly. These are the CHOSEN!! Every single person in the Bible called by God immediately tries to get out of whatever task He has for them. Moses, Jonah, even Jesus at one time asked God not to use them. They knew it was not an easy thing to be chosen by God for service. Service in the terms of God is sacrifice, that's why He gave us His only begotten SON. People think that faith is a crutch, grasped at by the weak and those too feeble to make it through to the "truth" on their own. That's a demonic lie. Straight up. Attemping to enter into God's grace is an instant invitation to spiritual attack. Being a Christian means you must battle the nature of yourself in the flesh. This cannot be a victory with He who first overcame the flesh. Taking up Christ's cross on your own is impossible. You need to meet Him first.

Sorry about that, I kind of ranted there for a minute. My point was, Christ doen't make life easier in this world. Matter of fact, my religion teaches me that the world will cut off my head if I don't renounce Him. And the public will call for it and cheer when it happens.

after all, God being omni-potent and omni-present, he is universal or "the universe" if you will.

God is also male and female at the same time. masculine and feminine at the same time. genderless.

the God in the bible is a masculine, angry, jealous God

he/it doesnt accurately depict my understanding of the genderless, emotionless entity or essence I understand to be the ultimate or supreme consciousness of man and other beings.

the God in the bible seems to be mans interpretation of a God who and how he wants it to be. by thats all part of being omni-potent and omni-present, so to each its own.

God who you want it to be.

but if you build a small house, dont complain about the size of your bedroom.

Hmmm, we get to discuss the notion of the God-concept again. There are a number of issues that have stood between my quest for knowledge, and the belief in deity. See I don't just refuse to believe in an omnipotent God due to a lack of proof. A lack of proof doesn't necessarily mean something is invalidated or does not exist, it may simply mean that the equation is wrong.

The most fundamental conflict for me is the notion of the God-concept beyond belief. I do not fault people for their beliefs. Beliefs can be true or false. A false belief cannot be a true belief and vice versa.

Secondly, there is the issue of evil. For example, history is filled with examples of untold violence and evil. The TransAtlantic Slave trade, the Holocaust, Hiroshima, the genocide in Rwanda, Bosnia, etc. The list can go on and on, if there is a deity that is omnipotent, at what point does deity intervene?

You know plenty of people have experiences that they survive that affirm their faith in some unexplainable phenomena, but for every person asserting that some unexplainable phenomena saved their life, millions of people die or are killed. How can we explain the existence of an omnipotent God in the face of a natural propensity of living creatures to be violent. If it is merely the work of some "devil", or the anti-thesis of deity, then the anti-thesis of deity seems to be the natural order of the survival mechanism of living creatures such as predators.

As far as the assertion that Man is a God. That proposition always has to be qualified. What about woman? Man certainly is not an omnipotent God. Man can only be a God within the social structures he creates, and no social structure exists with woman. Outside of the social structures men create, we are fairly limited in our abilities to survive without reliance upon the natural resources that we are born out of, we didn't create the Earth, the Earth created us.

These are some of the questions I posed to my 5% brethren when I was a youth and found them extremely lacking in explaining these issues. But they were claiming to be Gods. In fact, outside of the allegorical lore of the 120 lessons the assertion that "the Black man is God" was almost as questionable as believing the white man is a God. So I could no longer adhere to that philosophy. I'm still on my journey.

What's good sis? 100% co-sign on that statement you made. I believe that we are thought to not recognize and interpret those symbols for ourselves, but rather just go along with what we are told they are supposed to mean. I also believe that religion is designed as a way to divide and control people... For example, I was born a Christan... but does that mean I have to be a Christan by default? What if I was born a Buddhist, does that mean that the Christan me was wrong? And why is it that we have all of these different dominations anyway? I believe there is a God in some way shape or form, but religion is out the door with me.

I can probably think of 100 contradictions or things that are just weird about the bible off the top of my head but every time you question it, you are turned down bc "you are not supposed to question the word of God"... smh. I like your break down of belief vs truth. to sum it up, belief is opinion, truth is fact. ironically even fact has an expiration date.

never seen perfection, but still have an understanding of what it is or should i say, what it isnt. feel me?

im sure for a long time, it was considered "fact" that the earth was flat. then a greater understanding of knowledge came about. that correlation to the understanding of God is endless.

my understanding of the word omnipotent is "having virtually unlimited authority or influence"

that can also be found in webster.

now to me, God= knowledge

knowledge is endless

God= light

light is endless

God= supreme consciousness

consciousness is endless

God= the universe

the universe is endless. actually expanding as we speak.

thats my premise for considering God to be omnipotent

nothign more, nothing less. feel me

as far as man being God. man can only be a part of God, or a particle of God

as we are a particle in the universe

an organ within an organism

after all, our solar system is nothing more than an atomic mass

with the son being the nucleus and the planets are the electrons. same principles apply to both...

i think i understand ur perspective in regards to Christianity. it is a common view. and i do respect it. despite the fact that i prolly disagree across the board, i do genuinely respect it.

i, personally, am not lookin for Jesus, w/in or outside the Bible tho. i feel like i was lucky enuff to not be indoctrinated with any sense of organized religion, at least within my household/upbringing that was supposed to be my own. altho i have had a good amount of exposure to many faiths/belief systems.

but im curious, are u saying that the wickedness that Christianity has been used for thru out history is all apart of a design plan to weed out non-believers? that only the strongest humans are chosen? i mean when u said: its not by accident that ppl are turnt off from Christianity.

Actually I wasn't addressing either one of you, I was addressing the topic, but I totally understand your perspective. The God-concept normally falls somewhere in between omnipotent mystery, and man made flesh or human knowledge. I grew up with 5%ers and they are one of the groups amongst Black people that believe in the man made flesh notion of God. They are not afraid to say it in public. A lot of people are afraid to say that in public. I mean the Moorish Science Temple, the NOI, and even some Masonic sects believe God is Man. They just won't say it in public. I don't necessarily have any fundamental knowledge that there is anything omnipotent in the Universe, but that is a different topic.

Those are the templates but I find them both to be lacking because they simply don't move beyond the symbolic. Humanity is filled with symbols, I formally studied Computer Science, heavy math, symbolism.

Symbols can create material objects, for example, binary mathematics is the basis for the control logic of circuits, making all of these electronic devices possible. But if you want to see how little we actually know, ask a simple question, where did the symbols come from? Where did mathematics actually originate? We can trace the actual lines, such as the geometry, the arabic numerals, sanskrit, the hieroglyphs, but we don't know where it actually originated. In the human mind? A collective of human brainstorming over the centuries? Maybe, maybe.

The truly interesting questions boggle the mind, so I find the God question to be fundamental, but human knowledge is lacking in those areas. If the God-concept is a figment of the collective imagination of human beings then it has become a circular argument. One with no beginning or ending, much like the idea of an omnipotent God. Maybe we had it and lost it, that is very possible, I don't know. I'm still on my journey, because I truly don't know and it's pretentious of humans to act like we know when we don't. People are led around by people as blind as they are, they just have a structured set of tenets to justify their delusions.

your question about why i say God is emotionless, is a good one.

i use that word the same way I used the word "religion-less"

can me absent of all or embody all, in the way I was using it.

basically saying that I am not religious in that I have a particular religious denomination. but you may find some embodiments in some or all of the religions in my beliefs.

same when I say God is emotion-less. what i mean by it for lack of a better word,

instead of "a angry God". God is like the embodiment of all the emotions, as through the essence of God we can experience all of them.

just like you said, not day or night, but the day night process. we can label God as anything but infinite or all encompassing,

or (check me out street) "omnipotent and omnipresent"

thats why man and the concept of masculinity is only half complete without woman and the concept of femininity.

just like street said, you need woman. its a 50-50 journey to the light.

we are only a fraction of our potential as one, but closer to our own supreme consciousness (God-man status) with both masculine and feminine energy.

thats why i dont agree with the religious practices of making woman subservient or beneath man. like see in saudi arabia.

you limit her, you also limit yourself. because you are stronger through her shown strength.

but we confuse man being followed by woman with man controlling woman. two different concepts, feel me?

with that said, i think the illusions and the spirals of knowledge are intentional to keep it infinite. if that makes sense.

but we know that drinking it gives us certain benefits.

I think the concet of God can be and is applied the same way. may never fully understand it. but must use it to our benefit within our confounds.

after all, if the body is truly a space suit for the earth land, and the spirit is the true self.

then we can only be limited with out understand and practice of God on these plains.

but we can finish this discussion in further detail and better understanding when the both of us leave these bodys.

easiest game ever-

2 2-playa teams -usually

deal the deck- 13 cards each including 2 jokers.
take out red 2s.

2s low Aces high. big joker then little joker are highest spades. then Ace down.

13 total 'books' to play. each team bids after deal how many books theyll take.

10 pts for each book bid & made
1 pt for each book made over bid
-10 x # bid if you dont make bid= 'shot'
underbid by 3 books = shot
shot back 2 back = game
shot 1st deal = game
play to like 250...

play in suit. high card takes book.

spade is trump. 3 of spades e.g. takes A of clubs...

only play spade if out of suit played.

if u come with a spade over a suit, & then later play that suit u 'reneg'. if caught & the renegd book can be id'd you give up 3 books - 30pts- to other team.

caint lead a spade until after a suit been cut.

if you in negative score you can 'blind bid' b4 cards dealt & score double.

bid & win 10 books in a deal is 'wheel' = game.

no talking over the board.
