Farrakhan to Obama: Come to the ‘hood in Chicago to Stop the Violence

  • InTheNightKitchen

ooooooooooooh boy, I wonder how far this will travel?

  • Bossladi Thomas

Mr.larry hoover can help stop the killings in chicago but we can not sit and talk to him,but we can go in the middle east and sit down with them, but can not sit down with larry hoover, well if you order shitt u eat shitt until u holla at larry this what u get.WHY NOBODY WANT TO SIT DOWN WITH LARRY HOOVER WE KNOW HE HAVE THE POWER OH WELL

    • Sir_Salty_Mcginty

why does anyone have to sit down with dude? He knows whats going on. What’s stopping him from doing something?

    • Q.

What can Larry Hoover do? He’s up under the pen, forever. These new breeds aren’t trying to hear him anyway.

  • Q.

Pressure needs to be put on Obama to gather a corporate commission to get some JOBS in the CHI. A little money would at least stave off some of the desperation out here. They can open up some Walmarts, Targets, Walgreens, Baskin Robbins, Starbucks, hell it really don’t matter as long as they can get some cash in these young folks’ pockets. For all the money Black people spend, they can make this happen. The question is, do they want to?

    Again, JOBS!!!!!!!

    • Jon

Is Obama the king of Chicago or something like that? Last time I check Chicago had a Mayor and congress representation.

      • Q.

In a sense, yes, he is king, in terms of political weight. And it wouldn’t take much effort from him to help out the city–a few phone calls at least. Let’s not pretend Presidents can’t move and shake like that. Politicking is all about FAVORS, isn’t it? Well then, do these kids a favor. It’s a suggestion. JOBS.

  • Jon

Only the people living in the “Hood” can stop the violence. Is up to them.

    • Q.

True. But what’s the impetus for stopping?

For the most part, POVERTY breeds inner city violence. Attack the root of the problem. BRING JOBS!

      • Jon

I agree, jobs are essential. But what good will a job do for an 18 year old young man without any desire to work and no sense of responsibility. The first thing that needs to happen is a cultural change in the community.

      • Q.

18 year-olds “without any desire to work and no sense of responsibility” exist in any culture, anyplace. I’m going to assume you didn’t mean that stereotypically. Of course, the majority of young people out here would love an opportunity to make legitimate money working a job at a fair wage. Less of a cultural change, more of an economic one…unless you mean America as a whole.

      • Jon

Matter of fact, I did know it sounded funny and was going to specify in a parentheses but I thought you would understand my point. Anyway, at the end you did. I was talking about the whole nation in general. And I’m talking about people that I know personally.

      • If that’s the case then why are most poor people not criminals?

      • Q.

Most people aren’t criminals, period, regardless of economic class. But compare the stats of low-income/unemployed to middle-class/well-employed and up, and the picture becomes clear. This isn’t a theory. Research violent crime stats.

      • Jon

Exactly, that’s why I thought you weren’t going to misunderstand my point. We are talking here about the criminal minority who are “without any desire to work and no sense of responsibility”.

      • Q.

That’s not what I was talking about. I said jobs would help alleviate the killings. I don’t think you all understand the connection between poverty and violence.

      • Jon

Nah, I know a whole lot of broke men that have never killed anyone.

      • Q.

        ^^^
And there’s the proof that the point sailed clear over your head. Peace.

      • Jon

OK, my 5 years of Forensic Science and Para legal in college didn’t prepare me to debate with such an eminence as you. Don’t worry, you win. More JOBS! Even if they don’t want them. That’s the solution. Come on Obama, give me jobs. I want JEWBS! That’s the only way I can get ahead in life.

      • Q.

Really? You must’ve jakked off for 5 damn years because you don’t know sh!t. Ever heard of Socioeconomics? Google it. Look, I don’t give a goddam if you have 2 Ph.Ds in engineering, if you lack the common sense to understand the simple concept that Poverty breeds Crime then you should sue that sh!tty college you went to for a refund. Yeah, dumbazz, JOBS!! What pocket of America do you live in where people don’t need JOBS?

JOBS ARE HOW PEOPLE GET MONEY. You understand that?
IF PEOPLE HAVE JOBS THEY FEEL BETTER ABOUT LIFE AND HAVE HOPE, WHICH MEANS THEY’RE LESS LIKELY TO ROB, STEAL, AND KILL. Get it? I can’t dummy this down any further.

      • Jon

It’s my fault. I always see you making an ass of yourself in this site but still I engage in a conversation with you. I should had known better.

      • Q.

LOL Nice reach. Yeah, you should’ve known better trying to debate a topic you know nothing about. YOU’RE the azz here commenting without an education…Common Sense education. That degree you bought is toilet paper, duke. And I like how you wrote this like you’re impressive:

“my 5 years of Forensic Science and Para legal in college didn’t prepare me to debate with such an eminence”

        LOL YOU CORNY! FOH

      • johnblacksad

        ha ha ha!

      • It’s a way of thinking that’s encouraged by people like you which tells people they can do what they want because their problems are somehow more valid than others.

      • Q.

LOL You pulled that one straight out your azz…”people like you tell people they can do what they want because their problems are somehow more valid than others.” Really? Did you even think before you typed that REACH?

It’s people like you keeping Amerikkka infected with stupidity typing dumb sh!t like that on the internet. Sit the fukk down.

  • C. Black

On everything though, the first step has to be taken by the people themselves. Obama isn’t a puppet master for real for real, he can’t pull folks strings and make em do right, the folks gotta do right on their own. Thats 100 right there. When you step outside and see a dude lookin at you funny, what you gonna do? Key phrase, what are YOU going to do? Thats where it starts.

    • Chris

“…the first step has to be taken by the people themselves.”

      REAL TALK.

    • in that case what is the point in Obama speaking on anything then? He should have never opened his mouth about Sandy hook if he wasn’t going to say shit about what’s going on in his own city.

  • westcoastloc706213
