Who is Alpoko Don?

Sometimes it can be difficult for rappers to stand apart from one another, but just a few seconds into seeing Alpoko Don’s videos you can tell his style and music is completely different than anything out. When an Atlantic records A&R brought Alpoko Don to our attention, all we knew was that he did  his songs accapella. But with a series of videos co-signed by Jeezy’s 8732 clothing line, we were immediately impressed Alpoko’s talent and ability to make music, sing and rap.  As Alpoko started making a beat with a pen and his fists on the porch, singing and rapping a la some Goodie Mob or David Banner or Nappy Roots, we knew he had a chance to be something big.
