has partnered with Guernsey’s New York auction house to conduct
the first major auction sale of Graffiti Art. The website will
offer a complete listing of descriptions and images of the art,
as well as allowing collectors across the world to submit absentee
bid, until June 14th. The top bids will be announced at The Puck
Building in Manhattan in New York City June 15th.The event is
a retrospective celebrating the birth of the art form in the late
60’s to the current trends in Graffiti.
The auction will feature
legendary bombers such as Zephyr, Crash, Lady Pink, Blade, Daze,
as well as more mainstream artists such as Jean Michel Basquiat
and Keith Haring. Also up for auction will be drawings, paintings,
sculptures and vintage photographs from the likes of Martha Copper,
Jack Stewart and Henry Chalfont. “We are pleased….to present
