Allen Iverson, the
NBA’s Most Valuable Player, and his fiancee and babies’
mama, Tawana Turner, got married Friday, August 3rd. Iverson
AKA "Jewelz" has his controversial debut album
hitting stores later this year on Universal Records.
Reportedly,
they got married in New Jersey, not far from Philadelphia,
with a star-studded audience looking on. Their invitation
only told guests that the ceremony would be "in the
city of Philadelphia." It directs guests to call
the wedding planner for the exact address.
But media
types guessed that could be a ruse to keep away fans and
the media. In recent weeks, some friends had told reporters
that the wedding would probably take place in the couple’s
hometown of Hampton, Va., with their children Deuce, 3,
and Tiaura, 6, in attendance.
Wherever it
