Gulf War Veteran Mystikal

has launched his own record label, Big Truck Records and is currently negotiating

a distribution deal. The label has signed new artists Maxminelli, Beezy Boy,

Dart and female rapper Shonnie. "The four artists I have on the roster

right now are dope. I’m also looking for about four or five dope producers to

sign to the team," Mystikal told AllHipHop.com.

When asked about the unique name of the label

Mystikal replied:"I named my label Big truck because I wanted it to be

represented by a massive vehicle in motion…..move b*tch! Get out the way!"

Mystikal, who was originally signed to Big Boy

Records/Jive Records, then switched to Master P’s No Limit label. After successful

releases on all labels, Mystikal said he’s ready to do it on his own. "I

started this label to have total control of my career. Creative and contractually,"

Mystikal said.

Mystikal’s latest album, Tarantula is in stores

now.
