will perform at the Hot Wheels Cool Nights festival in Pontiac Michigan, Saturday

(June 29). "It’s been five years since the last time I came back to the

Detroit area, but nothing’s changed," LL told the Detroit Free Press. "I’m

very excited to be coming back here and I’m definitely prepared to give the

people what they’ve been missing."

LL will star in “Deliver Us From Eva,” in the

fall. The movie is a comedy in which he stars with Duane Martin and Gabrielle

Union. The romantic comedy is about a group of men who try to rid themselves

of their mates beautiful, but meddling sister Eva.

While LL has been noticeably absent from hip-hop’s

spotlight for the past year, he is ready to get back into full gear. He is preparing

to release his 10th album and is headlining a 38 city nation wide tour. "People

can call it a comeback if they want to, but I don’t feel that way. I’m about

to release my 10th album. I don’t see how you can call that a comeback."

will LL the same evening.
