After the success

of "The Mobilization For Education" rally in NYC, Russell Simmons’

Hip-Hop Summit Action Network is hitting the road. HSAN will hold 20 different

rallies in 20 different U.S. cities starting this fall, with each city being

linked to another via satellite connection. "The hip-hop power movement

demands quality equal public education," President of HSAN Min. Benjamin

Muhammad told AllHipHop.com.

Minister Muhammad

was recently in Seattle, Washington, where the HSAN established a youth council.

"We made it clear that hip-hop is growing among thousands of youth in Seattle

and the Northwest coast," Muhammad continued. The activists are pushing

for the development of an African-American history cultural center.
