Virginia-based duo Clipse’s album Lord Willin
4 on the Top 200 Charts. It was the highest new debuting hip-hop LP.
“Its the start of something new and paramount for the scene of Virginia”, Pharrell
told AllHipHop.com. Clipse can be seen on tour with Scarface this Fall.
The Neptunes-produced album moved 122,000 units its first week, powered by “Grindin,”
and the latest single and video, “When’s The Last Time.”
Eminem’s The Eminem Show managed to grind back to Number I after eight
weeks of hovering in the Number 2 and 3 slots. Nelly and his Nellyville
slid back to number 2 and Bruce “The Boss” Springsteen’s The Rising slipped
in third place.
Angie Martinez’s Animal House fell just shy of the Top 10 at Number 11.
It’s the second album for the radio personality.
Em is expected to lose his position as fast as he reclaimed it as Ruff Ryder Eve’s
Eve-olution will chart next week.
