Lil Flip’s major label debut, Undaground Legend

has been certified gold by the RIAA as of October 10. The album hit stores August

27 and debuted at #12 on the Billboard 200 chart and #4 on the Hip-Hop/R&B

chart.

According to Soundscan, Undaground Legend moved

almost 70,000 copies in the first week. The double album was priced at $5.99

to increase sales during the first few weeks out to prevent bootleggers from

cutting into sales.

In March, Lil Flip was shot and wounded as he

was leaving a Houston recording studio. No arrests have been made in the shooting.

Flip will be on BET’s 106 & Park Monday (Oct. 21).
