Authorities seized computer files from the studio
that Jam Master Jay was executed as the hunt for his killers stalled yesterday
(Friday Nov. 1). A $100,000 reward is expected to be offered for the arrest
and conviction of the murder sources stated.
Meanwhile sources said rapper 50 Cent, who police
suspect is also a target, left for Pennsylvania, saying that his entourage could
adequately protect his from any feat. Detectives are still searching for a motive
in Jay’s slaying, and they are conducting an intensive review of his business
and personal relationships.
A .380 caliber handgun gun found in a nearby
parking lot has been ruled out as the murder weapon. Police said Jay was shot
with a .40 caliber gun.
