DJ Kay Slay is holding a unique contest to promote
the May 20 release of his LP, The Streetsweeper, Vol.1.
The Drama King is promoting a number during his
show on NY’s Hot 97, allowing prison inmates to call in and leave a 16 bar message
showcasing their best rhyme.
Four winners will receive $500 directly into
their commissary account.
Streetsweeper Vol. 1 is a who’s who in
hip-hop. The album features new music by MC Ren, Styles P., Amil, Angie Martinez,
Nas, Raekwon, Scarface, Wyclef, Flipmode Squad and others.
