The Lox’s D-Block Records has signed a production deal with Universal and expects member Sheek Louch’s solo album, Walk With Me, to be the first release from the union.

The label expects to drop Sheek’s album midway in the summer time, citing a tentative date of July 29.

After hitting the mixtapes and garnering street buzz, Sheek is the last of the Lox (Styles and Jadakiss) trio to venture into a solo deal. Jadakiss, Styles P, Trick Daddy, Lil Mo, producer Super Mario and D-Block member J-Hood are all slated to appear on the album.

According to a rep at Universal, J-Hood would be the next solo album and then a possible Lox reunion album.

Financial details of the agreement were not immediately released.
