Cristal drinking rappers and revelers headed to the Superbowl festivities in Houston, Texas may be without their favorite drink.The city is experiencing a shortage of the champagne, due to the number of rappers and athletes planning events during the weekend.By yesterday afternoon (January 21), local liquor retailers had sold out of the drink, which runs $150-$600 per bottle.”It is the drink that is so popular with the rappers,” Amir Alani, co-owner of Live Sports Cafe on Main told the Houston Chronicle. “You can’t find it anywhere. We are going far to make sure we don’t run out.”Cristal was the most mention drink in pop music during the year 2003.The pricey drink was created in 1876 for Russian Tsar Alexander II.
