Fox Broadcasting gave the greenlight to 13 episodes
of "Method & Red," a new comedy series starring Method Man and
Redman.
The story line is based on an idea by Method
Man and stars the two as highly successful rappers that move into a predominately
white suburban, gated neighborhood in New Jersey.
The duo are prepared to live the rap "high"
life, when Method Man’s mother moves in.
"These guys are so funny and charming,"
Fox executive vp Craig Erwich told The Hollywood Reporter. "They have a
very original voice, and they bring a unique group of characters in terms of
their ensemble."
No decision has been made on when "Method &
Red" will premiere.
