After years of putting in work independently
and selling millions of records, Lil Flip’s latest double album U Gotta Feel
Me landed at the top of Billboard’s Rap albums chart.
The album soundscanned 198,350 units, the best
first week sales in the rapper’s career.
The album also debuted at #3 on the best-selling
R&B albums chart and #4 in the coveted Top 200.
Flip’s album sales are powered by his appearance
on Beyonce’s "Naughty Girl" remix as well as his own single "Game
Over," which will debut on MTV’s TRL next Friday between 5pm-6pm.
