The family of Andre

“Mac Dre” Hicks will hold a public viewing for the rapper, who was

shot to death on a stretch of highway in Kansas City.

The family will

hold the viewing from noon to 5 p.m. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 1735 Enterprise

Drive, in Fairfield, California

A private service

for the family will also take place.

Police have met

a stone wall while investigating the case, thus far. Reports said that as many

as 12 people in Hicks’ entourage refused to cooperate. Some even denied

knowing him.

Police are honing

in on the Mac Dre’s tour schedule, seeking to determine a motive as to

why the rapper was gunned down in what they say was a premeditated attack in

a stolen car.

Mac Dre released

more than 20 albums during his career.

He served five-years

in prison for conspiracy to rob a bank, after police identified him as part

of Vallejo’s notorious Romper Room Gang.
