Rapper Roscoe,

younger brother of Kurupt, was involved in a near-fatal car accident on January

2nd, after a drunk driver collided head-on with his vehicle.

Apparently Roscoe was driving with three other passengers when struck by a 19-year-old

female that caused their vehicle to flip twice, leaving the rapper’s vehicle

sandwiched in between two cars in traffic.

According to Kurupt, "Roscoe’s car was crushed like a soda can."

When paramedics

arrived on the scene they were unable to revive Roscoe-who received wounds to

the collarbone and head-and he was pronounced dead and toe tagged.

Miraculously, fifteen

minutes later the young rapper began breathing again and was placed in critical

condition.

Roscoe has since been upgraded to stable condition and is recovering at home

with family. Six others were also injured in the wreck.

Prior to the accident, Roscoe was hard at work on the mixtape "Cali Untouchable

Radio Pt. 5: YA" featuring DJ Strong and DJ Warrior of the Cali Untouchable

DJ’s.

YA stands for Youth Authority, a group that features Roscoe and Kurupt, as well
