DMX’s driving
woes continue, as the rapper was arrested last night, after he was involved in
a three-car collision involving a police cruiser Friday (April 15th).
The multi-platinum rapper was driving on the Major Deegan Expressway
in the Bronx, when he hit a car, which rammed a police crusier.
DMX, born Earl Simmons, was charged with driving with a suspended
license and released. The driver of the car DMX initially struck was treated
for minor injuries and released.
DMX’s driving record has been less than stellar over the
years.
In December of 2004, he was arrested and charged with various
driving violations, after police clocked him driving over 100 mph in a 65 mph
speed zone.
DMX’s license had already been suspended due to an altercation
earlier this year at Kennedy Airport in Queens.
In that driving incident, DMX and another man allegedly fought
over a parking space. DMX turned on flashing lights in his SUV and chased the
man through the parking lot, crashing through a toll booth.
Earlier in the
week, DMX had reached an agreement with officials in relation to the JFK incident.
He received a suspended license, a fine and forfeiture of his Ford Expedition.
