The 8th Annual Power Summit has teamed with Superadio Networks for the first ever “The Power Mix-Off.”

The “Mix-Off” will take place in Freeport, Bahamas on October 1 and the winning DJ will get a syndication contract with Superadio Networks and a guest spot on the Baka Boyz Hip-Hop Master Mix program.

The Baka Boyz program is syndicated in over 85 markets reaching 1.5 million people weekly.

Add that to the huge lineup of stations on Superadio, and the winner will have the chance to become a major player in the DJ game.

“When you combine the world famous Baka Boyz, who are the leaders in national mix syndication, wit the influence of the Power Summit, you end up wit the world’s premiere contest for today’s most talented DJ’s,” said Superadio Networks President Gary Bernstein. “We are thrilled to be participating in the search for the next Power DJ, who will be added to our roster in addition to the Baka Boyz program.”

DJ’s that want to be considered for the Mix-Off need to submit a 10-minute CD of their best mixes. Judges will be looking for the most innovative and radio-friendly mixing.

Judges include the Baka Boyz, RadioRaheim from the RPM Group, Clinton Sparks, The Pepsi DJ Squad, DJ Spinbad from New York, DJ Pharris from Chicago, DJ Tayrok from Atlanta, DJ Kim James from Detroit, DJ Quicksilva from D.C., DJ RO from New Orleans and Gary Bernstein from Superadio Networks.

All entries must be postmarked by September 1 and sent to Baka Boyz Inc., 3996 194th Lane, Golden Beach, Florida 33160.

The two finalists will be flown to the Bahamas to perform and will be provided hotel and transportation accommodations.
