upcoming producer will receive state-of-the-art equipment, their own website and

$10,000 as the winner of “The Architect”, the first 3-day competition

in Connecticut where hip-hop producers will compete and network among celebrities

and industry A-listers.

Presented by the Connecticut Music Alliance (CTMA), the competition

will take place October 7th-8th at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU)

in New Britain, CT.

The event will be judged by famed producers Darell “Digga”

Branch (Cam’Ron, Young Gunz, 50 Cent), L.E.S. (Nas, LL Cool J), EZ Elpee

(Lil’ Kim, Nas), DJ Shok (Ruff Ryders) and Buckwild (Big L, Jay-Z).

CTMA has also partnered with RockBoy Records to bring the Awakening

Tour to CCSU, featuring performances by Pitch Black, Smoothe the Hustler as

well as producer DR Period.
