Wonder Land Kids Fashion Show. The event features the children of various celebrities

walking the fashion runway to help raise HIV/AIDS awareness in their local communities.

The parents of

aspiring Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania rapper Anthony "emceeaccident" Latour

have filed a lawsuit against North Sewickley Township and the local Police Department

in Federal Court, claiming the school district expelled the rapper without just

cause, because of battle raps he wrote and posted against another student on

the Internet. Latour was 14-years-old when police arrested the aspiring rapper

at school in April of 2005 and charged him with terroristic threats because

of the lyrics contained in the rap songs. The same day of his arrest, seven

police officers with a K-9 dog searched the Latour’s home and confiscated $10,000

worth of recording equipment his parents had purchased for his recordings. Latour

also spent two weeks in a juvenile detention facility and was expelled for two

years. He was eventually awarded a $90,000 settlement from The Riverside Beaver

County School District in Pennsylvania. In the new lawsuit, the Latour’s seek

an undisclosed amount in damages for constitutional violations.

Rapper Nas will

be featured in an upcoming remixed Miles Davis project to help celebrate the

jazz legend’s 80th birthday. Nas collaborated with guitar god Santana for a

track on the album, titled Evolution of the Groove. In addition to the

CD, a new DVD, book, movie, Davis will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall

of Fame. "One of the things that has been most surprising to me is just

how iconic the name Miles Davis is," Darryl Porter, the General Manager

of Miles Davis Properties told the Associated Press. "Part of our goal

is to get a whole new generation of Miles fans." Davis, who passed away

15 years ago, still sells thousands of the legendary trumpetist’s album Kind

of Blue each week, a testament to his enduring legacy.

Two men face charges

in connection with a concert ticket scam in Dubuque, Iowa. Police charged 20-year-old

Jeffrey Revis of Wesley Chapel, Florida and Charles Warthan of Chattanooga,

Tennessee with theft in the first degree, after the pair promoted a phony concert

titled Summer Jam 2-K-6 which fraudulently featured rapper Chamillionaire and

R&B stars Ciara and Chris Brown. Police said over 1,000 people paid $25

a ticket for the fake concert, which were sold at local record stores. Police

said they caught the two as they attempted to collect more ticket receipts for

the concert. Victims of the concert scam can bring their tickets and fill out

a complaint form at the Dubuque County Sherriff’s Office. If convicted, the

two men face up to ten years in prison.
