Sierra Online, a division of Vivendi Games, has enlisted the help of G-Unit members Lloyd Banks, Young Hot Rod, and Sha Money XL to create an in-game soundtrack for their newest online game FreeStyle Street Basketball.

With an impressive 30 million players in Asia alone, FreeStyle Street Basketball combines music, fashion, and out of this world basketball moves to create a unique pick-up game environment.

“I jumped at the chance to create an exclusive song for FreeStyle Street Basketball , especially since Hip-Hop has always been relevant in the street basketball culture,” Lloyd Banks said in a press release. “I’m always playing video games so to have the opportunity to record the theme song for a game is crazy.”

G-Unit producer Sha Money XL, who has already produced the score for both 50 Cent: Bulletproof and Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift, will be responsible for the creation of seven exclusive beats as well as the production of the Lloyd Banks and Young Hot Rod tracks.

The official theme song for Freestyle Street Basketball will be created by G-Unit pioneer Lloyd Banks.

Young Hot Rod, who is preparing his debut album Fast Lane, will also contribute an exclusive track to the FreeStyle Street Basketball soundtrack.

Sierra Online will offer an exclusive preview of FreeStyle Street Basketball to the public this spring before it becomes available through digital distribution.
