From his birthplace of Beverly Hills, CA to the streets of Queensbridge, NY, producer Alchemist has steadily infiltrated the Hip-Hop community with his gritty beats and production techniques.

This year, both Alchemist and Prodigy of Mobb Deep plan on releasing albums simultaneously.

Alchemist’s new untitled album is scheduled to follow Prodigy’s release of Return Of The Mac, and Prodigy’s upcoming solo album, H.N.I.C. 2.

“I can’t wait to put [my album] out, but I’m just putting the finishing touches on it,” Alchemist told AllHipHop.com. “It’s definitely coming out in 2007. P’s coming out first, with the mixtape on Mar. 27. Shortly after that is going to be his album and I’m trying to figure out when I’m gonna drop mine and when he’s gonna drop his.”

Alchemist’s last album The Chemistry Files Vol. 1 was released in summer of 2006 and featured appearances by Cam’Ron, Scarface, and Tony Yayo.

Although Alchemist does not have a set release date for his third album, a single can be expected in the near future.

“It might be a point where we have singles out at the same time, which is what we’re shooting for,” Alchemist continued. “We got gangsta albums dropping at the same time.”

Almost a decade into the music business, Alchemist is no stranger to the grind of the rap industry.

Although he may be a Beverly Hills native, his many ventures to Queensbridge allowed the producer to learn how to adapt to any environment.

“I know about the grind,” Alchemist told AllHipHop.com. “You don’t have to grow up in the hood to know about the hood. Some people who are not from the hood can be more street smart than the people in the hood…I go to QB [Queensbridge], they love me. Half of the motherf***ers think I’m from QB.”
