U.S. Rapper Snoop

Dogg was arrested in Stockholm, Sweden on suspicion on minor drug offenses last

night (Mar. 11) after a performance at the Globen Arena. The

rapper was in Stockholm, as part of the Pass The Puff European Tour, which is

being co-headlined by former rival Sean "Diddy" Combs.Snoop

Dogg, born Calvin Broadus, had finished his concert and was due to appear at an

after party at the Scandic Anglais hotel in Stockholm, when police stopped his

vehicle on the Centralbron bridge. Police

searched the car and found a small amount of narcotics, but would not specify

the amount, or the type of drug that was found in the car, because it was unclear

who the drugs belonged to. According

to police, Snoop Dogg and his associate showed "clear signs" of being

under the influence of an unknown narcotic. The

rapper and a 23-year-old female companion were arrested around 1:30 am in what

local reports labeled a "planned raid" and taken to a police station.Snoop

Dogg provided a urine sample and if the tests come back positive for drugs, Snoop

Dogg could be fined. Sources

told AllHipHop.com that earlier in the evening, a hotel room was also raided,

where another associate was arrested with a "carton" of cigarettes,

that police claim contained marijuana. Sweden

has some of the harshest narcotics laws in Europe, but minor drug offenses are

usually punished with fines.Snoop

was released Monday morning around 5:30 am and is scheduled to perform at the

Oslo Spektrum in Olso, Norway tonight.
