Artist development company Music Nation has launched another series of online video music competitions, with the winners will receive a major label recording contracts.

The latest competition by Music Nation will include two separate winners, one winner will be chosen from the Hip-Hop genre and the other from the rock genre.

Judging the Hip-Hop competition will be an impressive roster of Hip-Hop talents including Green Lantern, 9th Wonder, and Saigon.

The two winners will be awarded recording contracts – signed jointly by Original Signal Recordings and Epic Records, a performance on Fuel TV and a Green Lantern mixtape for the Hip-Hop winner.

“Something like this sparked my interest as I move into the next phase of my career – helping artists get from point A to point B….and eventually point Z,” said Green Lantern in a statement. “I’m looking to bring the best out of some artists that are lesser known and I’m excited to see what the prospects are out there.”

Along with the recording contract and mixtape, the winner of the Hip-Hop competition will also be awarded the chance to perform at the 2008 Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, styling by L-R-G for their first music video, a Pacific Drums & Percussion X7 Gold to Black Sparkle Fade Kit w/8.155 Hardware pack and throne, and a run of 1,000 commercial quality CDs furnished by DiskFaktory.

Music Nation’s first competition included 2,500 eager artists competing for a recording contract with Epic Records.

The pop competition winner was Yolanda Ruiz, the rock winner was Kid Deposit Triumph and the Hip-Hop winner was rapper T-Max.

Music Nation’s second online music competition will begin on June 18.
