Dallas, Texas will host of this year’s semiannual Core DJ Retreat VII, which os being presented by Crest Cadillac and AP & Associates.
The retreat, which is taking place August 3-6, is a quarterly reunion of industry professionals, labels and artists, designed to be an exclusive networking event, in order to introduce new industry trends, new artists, and music to key players within the music industry.
DJ’s attending the event will have the opportunity to network, participate in listening sessions and watch music industry showcases.
Labels who have participated in the past include Atlantic Records, Warner Brothers, Def Jam, Virgin, Sony BMG, Rap-A-Lot Records, Jive, Bad Boy Entertainment, and others.
Previous retreats were held in various cities including Chicago, Miami, St. Louis, Houston, and Atlanta.
The Core DJ’s was founded by DJ Tony Neal and is one of the top DJ coalitions within the industry.
The Core DJ’s has over 250 DJ’s, as well as The Core DJ’s Latino, The Core DJ Legends and The Core Models.
