Philadelphia rapper Eve will host a week of BET’s long running Hip-Hop video show Rap City, from June 18-22.

Five respected females in the Hip-Hop industry will appear on the show as part of Black Music Month, to discuss issues facing women in the music business.

Dr. Roxanne Shante, DJ Jazzy Joyce, Monie Love, Mimi Valdes and Remy Ma will be featured on the show, which airs Monday through Friday at 5:00 PM.

“We all help each other out,” Eve told AllHipHop.com of women in the music industry in a recent interview. “Even if we’re not the best of friends, it’s nice to have a group of females. It’s just really nice to represent females. You kind of want that comradely to give you that extra edge to do better.”

Common, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Swiss Beatz will also appear on the show during the week, as Eve promotes her upcoming album Here I Am.

Here I Am hits stores August 7.
