Rap star 50 Cent continues to expand his G-Unit Books brand with the signing of Meta Smith, author of such novels as The Rolexxx Club (2006) and Queen of Miami (2007).

Smith, dubbed the “Queen of Bling Fiction,” was signed to G-Unit book division due to the success of her previous novels, which were released by Warner Books.

The first release under the deal is a new book titled Heaven’s Fury, which Smith describes as a “nea-noir tale of betrayal and deception.”

“50 Cent has commissioned me to bring you a hot novella reppin’ the streets and so I’m bringing you Heaven’s Fury in November 2007,” Smith said. “It’s all about a good girl who turns bad, once she finds herself caught in the middle of a bloody drug war.”

The book is set in Smith’s hometown of Chicago and Gary, Indiana.

Meta Smith, who also doubles as a Chicago DJ, has appeared in dozens of Hip-Hop videos.

She joins other street lit artists like Nikki Turner, Relentless Aaron, Noire and others as authors on G-Unit Books.

In July, Smith is also planning to release an anthology called These Are My Confessions, which Smith labeled “a collection of sizzling Hip-Hop erotica” that features Cheryl Robinson, Electa Rome Parks and Joy King.
