Outkast rapper Big Boi is teaming with legendary African-American Golf professional Calvin “Mr. Accuracy” Peete and The First Tee of East Lake to host Big Boi’s Big Kidz Foundation’s 2nd Annual fundraising event, which will offer attendees a unique golfing experience in Atlanta.

On Tuesday (July 24), The Big Kidz Foundation will spotlight the East Lake First Tee Program, which gives young people of all backgrounds the opportunity to develop various life-enhancing skills, such as honesty, integrity and sportsman ship, through golf.

An exclusive evening of golfing with the celebrities will take place in an indoor custom golf course and clubhouse.

The chart-topping rapper, along with Peete and producer JY Park, will then host an exclusive screening of the comedy Who’s Your Caddy, which stars Big Boi, Tamala Jones, Jennifer Lewis, Sherri Shepherd, Jeffrey Jones and others.

“What we talk about in our music lends depth and comes from a deeply creative place,” Big Boi said in a statement. “Outkast as a duo has been blessed with a provocative influence on the industry. What we have is innate, and I want to bring it out of the kids I affect. There are a lot of us [celebrities] creating change as a whole. I want to be more specific in my efforts. I want to leave lasting impressions on these kids.”

Peete, who was the most successful African-American golfer until the rise of Tiger Woods, has been involved in the First Tee Program for years, as his wife manages a local facility near Jacksonville, Florida.

The Big Kidz Foundation’s 2nd Annual starts at 6:30 pm at the Woodruff Arts Center Alliance Theatre.
