40 Cal Drops New Album; Disses Nas

Dipset rapper 40 Cal is preparing to release his brand new debut full length album titled Broken Safety 2 on Koch Records.

The 16-track album features guest appearances from Diplomat leaders Cam’ron and Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, J.R. Writer, Hell Rell, Akon and others.

Broken Safety 2 also contains a track dissing Queensbridge rapper Nas and his proclamation that “Hip-Hop is dead.”

According to 40 Cal, who has been featured on MTV2’s Fight Klub battle series, Hip-Hop is still alive and well.

“Any music form is gonna change, gonna evolve,” the rapper said of his reasoning for penning the track aimed at Nas, whose music he labeled “tired.”

Broken Safety 2 is due in stores September 11 on Diplomat Records/Koch.
