Hit-making producer Ty Fyffe is taking part in the search for music’s next big artist and producer as he joins a group of music industry professionals for a new quarterly nationwide talent competition.The Music Mega Star talent search will take place from 8 a.m. to midnight Aug. 25 and 26 at Fyffe’s Music Factory recording studio in New York.The veteran beat maker, whose work ranges from Wreckx-N-Effect’s “Rump Shaker” to 50 Cent’s “Straight to the Bank,” will be on hand to look for new producers to sign to his production company.In addition to producers, Music Mega Star will search for up and coming artists who have the potential to not only make quality music, but also sell items such as ring tones, concert tickets, clothing lines, cell phones, fragrances and cars.Representatives from Def Jam Recordings, Voicez Music Group, Atlantic Records, Jive Records, G-Unit, Violator Management, TYBU Entertainment and Bad Boy Records will see and listen to registered performing artists as well as hear producer tracks on a first come first serve basis.The Music Mega Star talent search is expected to draw talent from as far as Los Angeles, Toronto, San Fran, Seattle, Atlanta, Ohio, Louisiana andNorth Carolina.
