Rapper Fat Joe ‘s Terror Squad Entertainment has resigned a deal with EMI Music’s Imperial Records to distribute his new album titled The Elephant in the Room.

The Elephant in the Room is the follow up to Fat Joe’s album Me Myself and I, which spawned the double platinum hit single “Make It Rain” featuring Cash Money Records rapper Lil’ Wayne.

The new album features production by Scott Storch, Cool and Dre, DJ Khaled, The Runners and Danjahandz, while rappers like Rick Ross, Fabolous, P. Diddy and others make guest appearances.

“Working with Imperial is one of the greatest moves I ever made in my life,” Fat Joe said. “I never made as much money in my career as I have since I went independent. The Elephant in the Room is guaranteed to be a classic.”

Imperial Records will market, promote and distribute the album, which is Fat Joe’s eighth.

“Fat Joe is in a zone on this album, which is now his eighth solo work and I think it’s his strongest to date. It’s truly amazing to be working with an artist that’s getting better and better over time. He’s never sounded more confident.”

The Elephant in the Room is due in stores in early 2008.
