An incident involving Chicago rapper Twista stopped traffic on Interstate I-94 in Michigan.

 

Ten police officers stopped Twista’s tour bus yesterday (September 19)  which was en route to a radio appearance in Detroit to promote his album Adrenaline Rush 2007.

 

According to sources, Michigan State Police stopped the tour bus in search of illegal narcotics.

 

Twista, whose real name is Carl Mitchell, was stopped after state police ran the tag of his tour bus, which is owned by Florida-based company, Entertainment Coach of America.

 

Although the police were unable to find any narcotics, the entire search stopped the flow of traffic on Michigan Interstate 94 for more than two hours.

 

Twista who recently dropped his latest album Adrenaline Rush 2007 on September 18th, is also scheduled to perform on September 29th and the Jena 6 Empowerment Concert in Birmingham, Alabama.
