Hip-Hop star Kanye West has put the Beverly Hills mansion that he purchased six months ago up for sale according to reports.
The rapper is asking $8,699,000 for the mansion, which contains 34,580 square feet and sits on an acre of land in the flats of Beverly Hills.
The rapper paid almost $7.2 million dollars for the mansion when he originally purchased the property in May of 2007.
The current house on the property was built in 1921 and had not been placed on the market in over 45 years.
The house is expected to be torn down and rebuilt.
The property was put on the market a few days before the death of his mother, Dr. Donda West, who died of complications from plastic surgery on November 10.
