Remy Ma has come forward to deny rumors swirling about her sexual orientation, after a video hit YouTube featuring a Bronx woman who claimed to be the female rap star’s lesbian lover.
The shocking four-minute video features a woman in a Harlem, New York stairwell flashing money and making claims to be the former lover of Remy Ma.
“Remy, I love you baby, I’m so glad of your success, you’re super fly,” the unidentified woman gushes. “I just want to let this off my chest, off my back….I used to chill with her, smoke with her, pop bottles, all that. This is not a stunt. I did have relations with her, ate the box and all that.”
During the clip, the woman makes a phone call and claims to be talking to Remy Ma on the phone, while playing to the camera.
“The fraudulent video hoax that has surfaced of an alleged female lover of Remy Ma is completely false and reps for Remy Ma emphatically deny these claims,” representatives for Remy Ma told AllHipHop.com. “The staged video and storyline, as well as the voice on the phone posing as Remy are all fictitious and have made it very obvious that this is a deliberate attempt to undermine Remy’s name and character.”
Representatives for Remy Ma denied that she has ever had sexual relations with any female.
“Remy Ma has not nor has she ever been involved in a same sex relationship with the accuser or any other woman however Remy is respectful of those who choose the alternative lifestyle,” representatives for Remy Ma continued.
Her representatives also issued a stern warning to the video’s subjects, as well as the director, known as “Cliffy Barz.”
“This video and claim are both 100% untrue and we hope that the involved accusers are aware of the civil liberties violated in the taping of this video,” representatives for Remy Ma stated.
