Andre Harrell, the music mogul who launched the careers of some of the greatest artists of our time, is truly the definition of elegance and class. When it comes to fashion he is a connoisseur of exquisite taste, and it shows. In 2005, he launched his own exclusive luxury brand Champagne and Bubbles, and now he is giving back to the new generation of designers.

On December 13, Andre opened the doors to New York’s BO Concept Showroom to present up-coming designers ready to make their mark on the fashion industry, and AllHipHop.com was there to take in the vibe.

The crowd was highly fashionable, and the sexy just flowed with pink vodka and champagne drinks by NUVO. We greeted Mr. Harrell as he made his way around the room, and the crowd mingled and had fun despite the stormy weather outside.

Bad Boy songstress Cheri Dennis was among the beautiful people, and she looked amazing. “The event is very sexy…uber-sexy,” she told AllHipHop.com. “[There are] lots of talented designers and progressive things happening in the building.”

Money clothing displayed some key items from their collection, including their hot money-laden duffle that gives new meaning to “duffle bag boy.” They also have kicks with real currency in the sole.

We shared some laughs with photographer Dutch and Renelle Chang of the new line BZOO, which is influenced by Japanese animation. The BZOO philosophy is to give back to the children and animals of Africa for the loss of diamonds from Mother Nature.

I was instantly drawn to Mantra, a jewelry line that has diamond encrusted Ohm’s (the symbol of life/ultimate reality and representative of the trinity of God for Buddhists) and other harmonious pieces.

Mantra designer Jessica Robinson was oh-so-fabulous, and gave us her feelings on the night of Armoire: “I think that any time a group of talented people join together in an open forum, it is equally positive for those who participate and the audience who attends. For those of us who design, this kind of showcase allows us to test our creations before a group of our peers as well as a general audience.”

Overall, we had a night of fashion filled with decadence and love.  In keeping with Andre Harrell’s impeccable style, it was only for the sexy people!
