Extra police have been assigned to an upcoming concert featuring Young Buck at Club 51 in Dyersburg, Tennessee. The Nashville bred rapper is slated to perform an early-morning show at the club on December 23 from 1:00-3:00 am. “Additional police personnel will be assigned to work due to the large crowd expected,” Captain Steve Isbell told local reporters. “As with any event where a large number of people are expected, the department will ensure we have the appropriate number of officers working.”

 

Rappers Snoop Dogg and Kid Rock have been added to the roster of artists performing during Superbowl weekend in Scottsdale, Arizona. Snoop Dogg will perform on Friday, February 1st, as part of the Anheuser Busch Bud Bowl at Axis/Radius. Kid Rock then will perform the following night during the Valley for the Bud Bowl show. Both events are expected to draw over 5,000 each. Tickets to the event are being given away through local radio promotions.

 

Luther Campbell will appear on Fox Business Network’s financial show “Money for Breakfast” with Alexis Glick and Peter Barnes tomorrow (December 20) at 7:00 am. The mogul/former 2 Live Crew front man will discuss his plans for the Luke Entertainment Group (LEG), a publicly traded Hip-Hop company. Campbell will also unveil his plans for LEG during “Happy Hour” with Cody Willard and Rebecca Gomez, which also airs on the Fox Business Network between 5:00pm-6:00pm.

 

Comedy Central will air the world premiere of Katt Williams’ standup comedy special, Katt Williams: An American Hustle. The special features comedians Luenell, Red Grant and Melanie Comarcho, as well as guest appearances by Ludacris, Snoop Dogg and actor Jeremy Piven. The special airs Sunday, January 13 at 10:00 PM, with an encore performance at midnight. In related news, Williams stars in the upcoming comedy First Sunday, which stars Ice Cube and Tracy Morgan as two thieves who rob a church. First Sunday lands in theaters January 11.
