XM Satellite radio listeners will have more options to choose from in terms of rap music with two new shows featuring Queens, New York rapper N.O.R.E. and former Philadelphia on-air radio personality Monie Love.

Militainment Radio with N.O.R.E. will feature N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, along with co-host and fellow CNN member Capone, in a weekly radio format every Wednesday.

“It’s barbershop talk on the radio,” N.O.R.E. told AllHipHop.com. ” We are covering all issues from Superhead [Karrine Steffans] to Hillary Clinton and Obama, to the Iraq war, to smoking cigarettes, getting weeded and drunk and lying to your girl. It’s made for n***as but females will enjoy it as well.”

The pair, who rose to prominence with their classic 1997 debut The War Report, plan to bring their hardcore style of Hip-Hop to the airwaves when the show debuts tonight (February 8) at 8 p.m. EST on XM 66 Raw.

“Our fans get to hear unedited exclusives from artists,” N.O.R.E. continued. “It’s raw unedited interviews and raw unedited music. XM is the future. Take the journey with us.”

Monie Love’s new show, Ladies First Radio with Monie Love, will feature celebrity guests, as well as the rap pioneer’s reflections on life and love, to a soundtrack of ‘90s Hip-Hop music.

Ladies First Radio with Monie Love is scheduled to debut at 6 p.m. EST Feb. 14 on XM 65 The Rhyme.

New episodes will be broadcast at the same time on Thursdays while encores of each episode will air at 3 p.m. EST every Sunday.

The new shows are the latest in a string of rap-related programs on XM, which include urban and R&B mix shows on The City (channel 67), In The Booth with Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Classic Example with DJ Rasta Root on The Rhyme (channel 65) and Ludacris Presents DTP Radio- Open Mic and Chamillitary Radio with Chamillionaire on Raw (channel 66).
